This is the only authentic Turkish baklava and sobiyet in Vancouver with Turkish Antep pistachios, which makes it the best baklava in town in my opinion. It might even be the best one I tried in North America. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is from Gaziantep, Turkey which is the capital of Turkish gourmet baklavas. The ingredients they use and their technique makes a big difference. They also have amazing variety despite being a fairly new shop. They are a friendly family-owned business who have fair prices compared to other opportunistic establishments in Vancouver that claim to be “authentically Turkish”.
