Ordered from this place on Uber and the food tasted mouldy and flavourless. After making a private complaint through the app the restaurant replied with this “We have to say your taste is weird. You ordered the special and cheap food, it's quite standard and popular. You took the advantage of the restaurant and were still not satisfied. You are low, greedy and cheap!” I will never be ordering from here and strongly suggest you save your self the time and waste. I ordered the specials as this was my first time ordering and wanted to try a range of their food. After a $60 order I’m still being called cheap. No consideration for the customer supporting a local business during a time where most business have been forced to close. I would never wish bad for a business but with service like this it’s hard to wish them the best. I would of happily given them a second chance as I understand delivery quality can alter from the dine in experience but this is...
Read moreIt was a busy night, and snowing in Vancouver. Admittedly the roads were crap--that's why we were ordering in. We waited an hour and a half for our delivery order, when I finally called to follow up. He'd already taken my credit card information (which made me nervous and something I'll never do again...) and he said that he was making it right now!! What the hell? After 90 minutes of waiting!? I was really unhappy. I asked what he was going to do to fix this and he couldn't give me an answer, just a slew of excuses.
Listen, I understand it was a busy night, and Vancouver was under nearly a foot of snow. Me and half of Vancouver was probably ordering in... And I'm sure he was slammed. I just wish he'd called me back saying that he was slammed, that he only had one driver, and two cooks. But that didn't happen. Instead he had my credit card information and a plethora of excuses.
We cancelled our order and went to Dunbar...
Read moreDo NOT eat here. Go over a few doors to Sun sushi instead (food tastes way better and service is much better as well). The dynamite roll I received from Everyday sushi was completely soggy and inedible, and the miso soup tasted like dish water. When I called to politely let them know that the tempura in the roll was soggy, they said it was MY fault for picking it up a half hour after ordering... except that the order confirmation says the order will be ready in 25 minutes! The man who answered the phone was very inconsiderate and kept insisting that I should have ignored the 25 minute wait time they provided and have come within 3 minutes instead when the tempura was supposedly “hot and crispy”. If a roll can’t hold up 20 minutes after it’s made then that’s just another indication of the terrible quality of food at this restaurant (although the food may still be better than the even worse service). Again, do...
