Deducted one star because of delivery having a high dollar minimum. I can't understand the low rating for Lok's. I have only had mediocre food from them once in over 20 years! Everything we order is delicious and properly cooked. The BEST beef in the beef and broccoli and the beef and rice noodle! Absolutely delicious - tender and juicy. They will also add extra beef for a fee and it is honestly worth every penny. Also. the spring rolls are really good and not just full of cabbage as so many are. We love Lok's and wished they would lower their delivery $ minimum as it's unrealistic for two people - min $60 I believe. The chef Li was from famous Szechuan restaurant Ban Bu Xian, exactly same taste but have even more option, the egg York fried pumpkin was a killer, that pumpkin was creamy ,but also bit crunchy, soft inside, crispy outside, so was that flavorful fried eggplant, that was first deep fried make it crispy and then wok stirred fried with sauce so it also has a unique texture taste. That twice double cooked pork belly was delicious as same as ban bu xian’s so was that sour spicy fried shredded potato , it’s really good. Totally worth visiting to try their signature sticky rice with crispy chicken skin that is not found in other restaurants. I would recommend pre-ordering it as they sell out of this quick and when we went, we got the last one which was also the smaller size as it also comes in a larger size. Unless you have over 8 people, the small size should suffice if you order other dishes.
