I am visiting from Montreal. I was so excited to come here as all reviews were nice. I am a bit disappointed. The staff is not so welcoming. Barely any smile. The credit card machine was not working at first. Took a while. After that I had to enter my credit card pin on their tablet that as uplifted on their table. There was a big line of people before me. Everyone could see the password, I felt very unconventional and had to hide it as it was not a tiny machine. It didn’t work anyways, but after the staff disconnected and connected the machine, finally it worked. I didn’t like the fact that you have to pay first and then you can sit. Weird. Also they don’t have physical menus so I was put on a spot to pick the meal ASAP. The meal was okay, waffles are nice, smashed avocado meal itself wasn’t impressive. Lacked flavour. Then I couldn’t just order something else. I had to get my stuff, go to their cashier table and pay again. Uncomfortable not smooth experience for your customers. The sweet tiny waffles were okay. Not crispy at all, although I thought they would be. They also don’t have a washroom. Overall, I didn’t enjoy my experience there joe food. Please, work on your...

The waffles are delicious! I was born in Belgium and grew up over there until I moved to Canada in my twenties. A few years ago I heard about this Belgian couple that was opening up a waffle bar in Vancouver called "Nero Belgian Waffle Bar". Since they have been open I have been wanting to go try their waffles and see if they are really like the ones in Belgium. Well, last week I finally got the chance to go and I can tell you that it did not disappoint. The Brussels waffles were crispy and fluffy at the same time. I ordered the "Bresilienne" on a Brussels waffle, my waffle was topped with whipping cream, vanilla ice cream, caramel drizzle and crumbled up hazelnuts. My friend ordered a savoury waffle and also had a Brussels waffle which was topped with wild smoked sockey salmon, dill mascarpone, red onion & cucumber. She also thought it was delicious. On the way out I bought a couple of big Liege waffles and a few small ones for my family...they were gone in no time and YES, all the waffles taste like they do in Belgium. I will definitely go back again some time to try some...

Tasty Belgium waffles. Asian cashier very rude. If your restaurant have rules should be displayed on the wall.

I decided to invited my little one for a yummy Sunday breakfast, when we're doing the line up I told my 6 years old to seat. A couple in front of me and 4 people behind doing the line, the cashier decided to ask everyone if the food was to be eat at the place or to go, when I said to eat there she started to say that I should order before we can seat. Right the way I told my daughter to stand up, even that was 3 tables available inside and one outside. When everyone on the line up were impressed for the cashier behaviors she decided to say in this opportunity is OK that she reminds seat. I felt really uncomfortable that I need to be told about your rules in front everyone, making me feel like we were doing something wrong.

Then at the moment that I needed to do my order, a customer who was leaving the place interrupted asking for the waffles display on the counter, she decided to take is order before all the ones on the line.

Very sad that one single employee can...

Nero Belgian Waffle House is an absolute gem for anyone who loves a sweet treat! I’ve had the pleasure of visiting multiple times, and I can confidently say that their Liege waffle with ice cream, crushed nuts, caramel, and strawberries is the best combination you could ever indulge in. The waffle itself is perfectly crispy on the outside while being soft and fluffy on the inside. Each bite melts in your mouth, especially when paired with the creamy ice cream that adds a delightful chill. The crushed nuts provide a satisfying crunch that complements the rich caramel sauce beautifully, while the fresh strawberries add a burst of fruity freshness that ties everything together. Every visit has been a delightful experience, and I can't recommend this combo enough. If you’re looking for a decadent dessert that will leave you wanting more, Nero’s Liege waffle is an absolute must-try! Treat yourself—you won’t regret it!

Waffles are great as usual but they ran out of ice cream and tried to hide it with whipped cream.... We ordered 2 waffles, and had made it a point that we were looking for waffles with ice cream. So we ordered 2 waffles which are topped with ice cream. When the waffles arrived, one waffle had a significantly smaller-than-usual scoop of ice cream (~60% the usual size) and the other waffle.... had a ~10-15ml scoop of ice cream, which they tried to cover with whipped cream. Turns out they had ran out of ice cream but nobody decided to tell us about it even though we made it a point that we specifically wanted waffles with ice cream. We pointed out the issue to the staff and they told us they ran out of ice cream and said "what do you want us to do". The way the staff handled a situation was so disappointing.
