This pizza is not good. I have eaten at all the top pizza restaurants in vancouver and around the world. The crust is like bread. The bottom has no color. Its like they bake on a low temperature. Best pizza is baked at high temperatures. The pineapple pizza was very average tasting. The pulled pork pizza i had tasted boring and not very flavorful. There is way better pizzerias in vancouver than Papas. I usually go to Pizza garden across the street because they are delicious. Go to Pizza garden and try their crust. Thats real pizza and way more flavorful. I found Papas on google with so many good reviews, that is why i tried it out today. I think many of these positive reviews about Papas is FAKE. Also the people who say Papas has the best pizza... i think they are pizza newbies. This is my honest review. You should listen to my feedback because I have made hundreds of pizzas at home and have been to the best pizzerias. I know what i am talking...
Read moreWow what a place! This pizza is truly phenomenal and unlike any I or my husband have ever had! We loved the variety of pizzas offered and that you could purchase by the slice to make a whole pizza. The ingredients were very fresh and I swear you could taste the love in the handmade dough! The dough was thick but super light and didn't leave a heaviness in your belly and oh how flavorful it was! We tried a different choice for each slice of the eight slices we, eagerly and surprisingly, consumed and let us say, you can't go wrong with any of them! This is a place that not only feeds the belly but the soul as well! If you are looking for an old-fashion pizza diner feel that offers delicious, and I mean delicious pizza, where you are greeted and treated like a friend then this is the place for you. California is waiting for you with open arms! Melody and Cliff...
Read moreWent here recently for a couple of slices and was surprised to see just how much it's gone downhill. I think they must have new owners because the pizza is not the same anymore. I've been going here for twenty plus years. They didn't have any spinach and feta, prime rib, artichoke pizza, or any of the specialty pizzas they usually have sitting on the counter. All the people who've been here know what I'm talking about. I got two slices, pepperoni and chorizo. The pepperoni was burned and hardened like a potato chip, the chorizo slice was ok except the crust was hardened from probably sitting around too long. I got a can of pop too which was frozen solid. I don't see this place lasting much longer which is kind of sad because it's been a neighborhood staple for...
