The food was delicious. The bun bo hue broth was practically perfect. Spicy, flavorful, rich, screaming with umami. However, the hue noodles were slightly overcooked, and were softer than preferred. I prefer my hue noodles to still retain a bite of firmness. The regular beef broth was delicious and rich with flavor too. We also ordered pork spring rolls with our pho and they never came. The pho came out very fast (less than 10 minutes) but we were nearly done with our soups when the waiter came over to inform us our spring rolls would be out soon. He said there had been an issue with the kitchen causing its delay but we opted not to get them anymore as we were almost done with our food already. It was pretty disappointing as I was looking forward to the crunchy spring rolls with the delicious hot broth. We were also the only ones dining there at lunchtime on a Tuesday so it was surprising that they never brought out the spring rolls. Overall, still a delicious lunch and I want to try the satay rice noodles in...

I ordered delivery (pho and a Viet sub). Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much at first because of the word "express" in the name—it doesn’t usually make me think of high-quality food.

However, after seeing all the great reviews here, I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. This place is legit. The soup is incredibly well-made—rich and flavorful without any of the artificial taste you sometimes find at other pho spots. Having worked at a pho restaurant before, I can tell they take the time to craft this great soup, and it truly shows in the depth of flavor.

The tendon and tripe had a perfect texture—they practically melted in my mouth. I don’t usually enjoy tendon or tripe much, but the way they were prepared here was just right, making them really enjoyable to eat.

The Vietnamese sub was also impressive. Every ingredient was perfectly seasoned, and the flavors came together in perfect...

Great new pho place in East Vancouver on a quiet stretch of Hastings that passes over the tracks, with street parking in front. Spring rolls are best I've had in awhile. Delicious filling, lots of texture, served piping hot, super crispy exterior. I had the #14 pho but asked for no tripe. Broth was flavourful, meat tasty, good textures in the tendon and brisket, nice spongy beef balls. I'll say best Vietnamese on East Hastings between Main and Bounday until I taste better. High ceilings, clean minimal concrete interior, super friendly staff. Will be back! Was told it is the sister restaurant to another location in Yaletown, which I shall have to try next time I'm hungry and find myself...

Walked by the other day and saw them, newly open in the neighborhood but didn't get a chance to try. So I decided to come back today, absolutely it was a good choice. Their food is good, friendly and fast service, very nice decoration also everything is so clean. Ordered a Rare Beef Pho and I was so happy that they had the option to add eggs which not many Pho Restaurants have (the server said regularly it will be fried sunny-side-up but you can also ask for poached eggs instead). *Vietnamese coffee is a Must!! I think I will have to come back next time to try satay coconut pho which seems very tasty..
AHAH
I had high expectations for this place given the high reviews, but sadly I was disappointed. The broth was bland and didn’t have much flavor. Also, the toppings don’t include jalapeño (you have to pay $2.50 for that, really?), which would help the taste. I found the prices quite high for the quality of the food, lots of things are extra - even takeout containers. That said, the place was clean and the guys working there were very nice and attentive, hence the stars, but there’s better pho places in the city at much reasonable prices.
