Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Vancouver

Hello, I usually have a great experience with my pickup orders. Love the pizza for an easy grab dinner. I wanted a snack, so I ordered the creamy garlic and cheese tots to try for the first time. Exciting! ...

I opened it and immediately saw it was burnt and not the cheesy I was expecting to see. See pics.. there was barely any cheese, and the rest was burnt to the bottom. I went back and showed the worker and explained there wasn't much cheesy or sauce. She said, "That's how it's supposed to be."

I explained that I meant there wasn't any sauce or cheese on most of it. She said. "There's no sauce in it." I'm confused because I remembered reading creamy garlic... I persist and explain, it's all burnt to the bottom.

She says, " That's how it's supposed to be. That's how we make it."

So, order at your own risk. Do not recommend getting it here since she hasn't read the description of what she's making.

Most of it was inedible. I'm so disappointed. I've always had a good experience before.

EDIT: Manager and Supervisor responded with kindness and respect. Appropriate action was taken to train the worker and they provided me with a $20 gift card for my experience. They took action, I'm happy with that, can't ask for...

UPDATE - The owner reached out to me the following day to rectify the situation. I was impressed by their responsiveness and willingness to improve on their service. We had a short chat about his business and I was able to try their pizza. It's good value when compared to other franchise pizza. I like that they do care about their customers and take the time to accept feedback. I'm glad they are in the neighbourhood.

Never had a chance to try the pizza because they were too slow to complete the order. Placed the order at 5:54pm on a Friday night. Confirmation email said it would be ready in 15-20 min. When I arrived at the store 10 min later, there was only 1 person working and there was a line up of people in the store. The pizza oven was not on and there were a couple of pizzas sitting on there the whole time I was waiting. By 6:19 the pizzas I ordered had not even been started yet.
