Ragazzi’s sent us the wrong order. When we called to explain we were told they were “too busy” to verify the order and sent a pizza that we didn’t order. They would not correct the order, told us they had no drivers available to deliver the correct pizza and then told us to ask Uber Eats for a refund which is ridiculous since it was Ragazzi’s error. Completely dissatisfied that Ragazzi’s didn’t care about long standing customers to correct their mistake and doubly disappointed that they tried to pass the blame onto Uber Eats (definitely wasn’t an app problem).
Update: Ragazzi’s reply to my review is not accurate or honest-surprise there. I ordered a topping in the special instructions section and the app said I may be charged extra for the topping-no problem. I did not get the topping. The option should not be provided if it’s not going to be included in the order-the app states substitutions or changes are not allowed for any other restaurant. It did NOT state this for Ragazzi’s. In the past Ragazzi’s and any other restaurant would call to clarify any order issues they had that were placed on the app. If a charge couldn’t be added through the app it would be taken over the phone. The girl on the phone said they would have normally called but they were too busy to call so my order was pushed through without the topping ordered because it was what I was charged for-still not what I ordered. Then I was told because they didn’t charge me for it there wasn’t a problem to which I repeated not getting the topping on the order was a problem for the individual who wanted that specific pizza. It could have been ordered somewhere else (next time it will) had we known we wouldn’t get the topping wanted. Additionally, the girl on the phone (who was trying to help but herself sounded disappointed to be stuck with the owners decision) commented how she wished the owner had been working on site that day to help as they were really busy and could have used the help. Blaming or deflecting an error rather than rectifying it so a customer can receive what they ordered and had no issue paying extra for is extremely poor customer service and trying to cover that with a Google review reply that still deflects and does not accept accountability only proves the problem-Hence my review. Accountability and an apology from the owner is a reasonable expectation at the least. Ragazzi’s dropped the ball...
Read moreToday I had the opportunity to eat in, and was able to share with the friends that we invited to come along. They small establishment has a revolving door of clientele.
We ordered the meatballs and they were hot, juicy, and tender. The sauce paired well and i really enjoyed the crispy garlic bread?
Our pizzas were crisp, hot and flavourful. I am happy that we were given the opportunity to come back and try again. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family.
We had the Rustica and the and Prociutto & Funghi.
Excellent customer service. Thank you for reaching out. Will update stars upon trying the pizza again…SOON. 💗
Today the pizza was not so hot and fresh. And the crust was very burnt.
Changed to 1 star review. Many friends who come here say that our pizzas were definitely burnt. The comparison is to this establishments IG page where the pizza is crust is toasted....
Read moreHave had pizza by the slice before, it was decent.
The pizza when it finally arrived was decent, thin crust, arrived room temperature cold, burnt on the edges, nice quantity of topping. Did it knock my socks off? No. Was it terrible? No! Was it better than the local chains? I think so.
Caesar salad was not worth mentioning, the powdered cheese was a disappointing surprise. But, you can’t be excel at everything. Or can you?
Delivery was an exceptionally long wait, this was communicated at time of order (1 hour 45 minutes) but ended up being 2.5 hours. Ok.
Was it worth the wait? Not really. Is there better pizza in the area? Not really....that I’ve found since my fave closed shop.
I prefer to support local, independent businesses. I’m going to go with the idea that they were busier than they were prepared for, and hope on a slower night I’d get a quicker,...
