The wraps were all so good and the serving is generous. However, it's a bit pricy. *update* As from my first review, I honestly love their wraps so I kept coming back and order frequently. Aside from the consistent great tasting wraps, I have consistently noticed the unsanitary ways the people at the back kitchen are doing: 1. Some are not even wearing masks and if they're wearing one, it's not covering their noses. 2. I saw one guy at the back with clothes looking like full of cement dustings and is sweaty, I honestly thought he was doing some repair or something in the kitchen. But then, I saw him emptying some cooked meat under the sink: looks like he's cooking something down there using charcoal. The point is, he looked so untidy to be handling food preparation. 3. The lady in front: cashier/food prep. She does wear gloves but well while preparing food, she's touching here and there. Handling cash even and pressing on the tablet processing online orders. No handwashing in between. So that's just my observation. I am not complaining to anyone. I am just letting others know. I stopped buying from them since then.

First time customer alert โš ๏ธ ๐Ÿ“ข First impressions not so great: Came in waiting without any welcome and stood there while she was packing. Was kinda awkward..๐Ÿ˜• Same time wasn't aware it would take 20mins to get everything done. Comments below: They only take debit or cash if you walk in. Price also increased so the menu you see online is more now. My photos below are the updated menus. -Food taste is good but portions are smaller now compared to online images. -They do give lots of sauce which is nice though I did a substitute for tzakiki but she forgot and did Hummus which I corrected her before she added all the other dishes. -Also looks like they cater more to there online orders than in store ordering. -Along with this they didn't have Harira soup which the lady did not know and same time she didn't know what was included in the Family Combo. She might be new but same time not the greatest impression. Overall: - not sure I would come back based off experience and might be last resort place if I crave shawarma.๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

*update* these guys gave me a credit and while I didn't go back for the greek salad I did get a Falafel plate that was really nice. It was so fresh. Sometimes Falafel can be dry. This was outstanding. Thank you* SERIOUSLY? What happened? I'm almost about to give up ordering from places cause maybe when you delivery they stop caring? My order is simple enough. Greek salad and a spinach and feta pide. I received a container of cut up cucumber, tomatoes and peppers. That's it. No feta. No olives. No dressing!? Thank God a tiny container of tzatziki came with the pide so it wasn't dry veggies....but $8.99 for this? Better believe I'm upset. Smallest pide ever....in a huge pizza box lol. Taste is OK....but the experience frankly ruined by the waste of money for the "salad". I'm not sure if it's better in the restaurant but this is such a disappointment and waste of money.

I ve been going to this place since it opened and honestly the best shawarma in town ๐Ÿ‘I also recommended it to my family and friends and have ordered food here numerous times. I think we spend at least $58 on each meal on a weekly basis bc we live close by. Just disappointed that they now charge $1 per sauce that is not poured onto the Chicken platter and one day I brought a friend there and we left without checking our order for the extra sauces we bought for $1 each. There were about 2 sauces. I went back to let them know a sauce was missing but they thought they were 100% sure they put the extra garlic sauce in the bag of orders. I almost felt like I needed to show them my purse to prove the sauce was really missing. I thought it was funny and just played it out and offered to pay for an extra sauce bc I always get my garlic sauce on the side๐Ÿคฃ I mean I wasn't going to start a fuss over $1 and they may not even know I was the best customer they had from the start! The owner heard and kindly came out and finally apologized for the misunderstanding and gave me my garlic sauce ๐Ÿ™. I just felt bad that restaurants have to lessen their portions and that nowadays ordering a nice meal with enough portions means so much to customers bc its hard to find good food these days. So I just want to say to Shawarma Cafe that the reviews fr customers look so positive and to continue w the best customer service to the public bc your food is good but is the best when customer service is a priority ๐Ÿ‘Œ ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘ thanks Shawarma Cafe for your...

Okay, I don't normally give this high a rating for any food I take out. However, this is hands down one of the best, most fresh meals I've ever had in Metro Vancouver.

I ordered the chicken platter with pita. I was shocked at how good everything was. The hummus was extremely fresh and had the perfect hints of acidity and spice. The rice was cooked perfectly. The chicken was on a hole other level. The pieces were huge and packed full of flavour. The crispy bits were delicious and weren't dried out at all. A ton of sauce on top, which I didn't have to ask for, so I always appreciate that. The hot sauce in particular was SO good. It's not just Franks Red Hot, or a basic hot sauce, it was well rounded with medium heat. The pita was probably the most soft and delicious one I've ever had at a resturant like this. I would say my only complaint is the small salad size. I got two tomato halves and two slices of cucumber over a very small bed of greens. So if that's your favourite part, you may not enjoy it as much. Also, it was an extra 5 dollars for extra chicken which I think is a little pricey seeing as I don't think my plate was topped off all that much.

That being said out of 10 it's an easy 9.5. I don't usually get this excited about a new food spot. This will be one of my top new favourites. You really have to...

I got takeout through a food delivery service from this place. I had ordered from here in the past and remembered it being pretty good compared to the one around the corner from my place. There are SO many things wrong with this place! The food is not well flavoured or seasoned; the hummus tasted like chickpea paste without even a hint of garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, etc. I know different places make hummus with different ingredients, but this was the worst I've ever had. The Tabouli salad had no dressing, the tomatoes were super mushy and the onions were too chunky. The rice was overpowered by the taste of what I think was cumin seeds (possibly caraway seeds) and half an hour after eating I can still taste it in my mouth. There was hardly any chicken on my platter and let's not get into the tiny squirts of garlic, tzatziki and hot sauce as there might as well have been none on there! The best part of the entire meal was probably the pita and the bottle of water I got for "free". I will never order from this place again especially considering that the terrible meal I just got was a whopping $21.99 but should have been...
