During our visit to Granville Island Public Market, we decided to have a quick lunch at Sprig. We opted for the Chicken Souvlaki Dish priced at $21, which was meant to be shared. The dish included a choice of chicken or lamb, accompanied by pilaf rice, a Greek salad, vegetables, tzatziki, and pita bread.
Unfortunately, the only standout item was the flavourful Greek salad. However, we were disappointed with the lack of taste in the rice, pita bread, and vegetables. The pita bread was hard, the vegetables appeared soggy, and the rice pilaf seemed undercooked. The portion of chicken was small and on the rarer side, with only three cubes per stick. Overall, the serving size was deceivingly small, considering the size of the container. Furthermore, the food lacked the authentic Greek grill and flavour profiles we were expecting. Our previous experience with their wraps was also similar, lacking in distinct flavours.
Another letdown was the portion of tzatziki provided, with the option to purchase extra for an additional charge of $1+. It simply wasn't enough to enhance the meal.

The chicken was perfectly cooked and marinated and the tomato jam provided a delightful brightness to the dish. The falafel were some of the best I've ever had, fried to perfection with a real depth of flavour that mixed well with the ample serving of tzatziki provided. Finally the potatoes were fanatic, with a beautiful zest that capped off each soft and mouthwatering bite. Highly recommended, so much more than I expected from...

Tasty and fresh with lots of vegetarian options! We had a falafel wrap and the fried halloumi wrap. Both quite good but the falafel should be smaller to balance with crispness and the halloumi should be too to help its balance while eating. The dressing in the halloumi wrap sails down so that it’s a little precarious to eat, but...
