Ubereats has a B1G1F and it was well worth it.

Their spicy tuna roll was the most delicious I've had in a while. While other places chop up the tuna to hide that it is the bad parts or old tuna and slather up with sauce, this place gives you a big chunk. The spicy sauce was very different - not that spicy but still good. I've had too many places that use the same spicy sauce and it gets boring. It was nice with a very tiny bit of tempura crunch, and avocados.

The aburi is a little lacking. Nice size of fish on the top and a good sear but it lacks the additives. It had a little bit of mayo and a couple pieces of green onion. Would like to see more toppings. It was rather bland by itself.

Prices are already cheap by itself. Comparable to the lower quality sushi places except this place has quality. Staff are very friendly as well.

We ordered A seaweed salad, chicken teriyaki and rice, Nigitoro maki, tempura, and dynamite rolls. They had a 2 for 1 promo on Uber Eats for the dynamite roll and tempura. This is not the reason that we ordered those items. It’s just what we order every time we eat Japanese. The chicken teriyaki was very good as well as the seaweed salad. The tempura was mushy and cold and the worst tempura I’ve ever had. Don’t know what the batter was made with, but it did not taste good at all. As you can see from my photos, that temporary tested as bad as it looked. The reason I am giving one star is because of their dynamite rolls. The dynamite rolls had a smidge of avocado, cucumber, prawn tempura, and a huge piece of yam inside. See my picture of the dynamite rolls? The big orange thing is yam. This was the first time I’ve ever had yam in my dynamite roll and I gotta say, I’m not a fan. My son and I checked out the menu online before ordering and in their picture of their dynamite roll, there was no yam. I get that giving away 2 for 1 dynamite rolls may be costly, but don’t go adding large amounts of yam to your rolls as a cheap alternative...

Best sushi place in Vancouver. Literally bang for your buck. They have an All-Day special that’s really reasonable and their selection is quite diverse. I usually come here for lunch or dinner 2-3 times a month since it’s close by my workplace. Their salmon sashimi pieces are huge and compared to other sushi places you’re definitely getting your money’s worth when you eat here. Their tempura is also lightly coated leaving you with an after taste that is not greasy! I highly recommend their pink lady roll, it’s so delicious! I usually get their salmon sashimi (5 pcs), pink lady roll and tempura (appetizer size) all for just $30 (excluding GST). Although, the delicious food wouldn’t be so great without their chefs and servers, the owner, Winnie, is such an awesome character, you honestly feel like you’re being fed at someone’s home.
