KFC — Restaurant in Vanderhoof

I categorized this post as a delivery but it is in fact the opposite. I did not receive my order or any type message indicating that I would not.

I usually try to offer only good reviews when I really enjoy something but once in a while I feel really let down. And hungry.

In this case the circumstances required me to order from only a few choices all of which would close shortly. I could understand the early closing times (8pm) because it was a smaller place with a pandemic still hanging around. Sort of why I was ordering in. Unfortunately I was relying on my choice to provide me with, what turned out to be, my only option for a meal that I really needed being from out of town on business. DONT EAT HERE Sign says open for dine in until 9pm, we come in at 8:30pm. No problem. “Sorry it’ll be 20 minutes for chicken because we just did a big order”. They said that we could stay and eat in… ok, we ordered. Eventually got our order. The nice girl locked the door and assured us it was fine to finish eating. Greasy Greasy Greasy. But, hey, it’s KFC and it’s late. Spices certainly lacking. 3/4 done eating and now a young man (30 ish) rudely says “you gotta leave, these girls want to go home”. I said we’d like to finish eating. He says “no, well… they wanna go”. I tossed the rest as it was subpar anyway. The guy was rude. Girls were fine. Food was poor. Should’ve gave it back but we were tired. DO NOT EAT HERE. ...

Vanderhoof kfc is by far the worst location I've ever been to. They do not use the original recipe for their chicken which was soggy. The boneless bucket we got , had soggy popcorn chicken and dry strips. The cust.service rep. Completely missed an entire meal on our order And then gave me tap water when I asked for a bottle. There was no fork for the potato salad that they gave too many of. We ordered 2 zinger boxes; with salad one with bottles water the other with root beer we got tap water we only had one on our order. And we had a Boneless chicken box. A medium gravy was not an option. Furthermore I could not understand the cyst.rep. At all. Very poor English which is a huge barrier when repeating...
