Billy K's — Restaurant in Vaudreuil-Dorion

Decided to try Billy Ks because I heard great things. The restaurant is clean and bright and I love the way it was designed, a great atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and took the time to answer a few questions and make suggestions. We did not eat in but there were about 5 or 6 tables and a couple of spots with stools, as well. Most people were there to get take out anyhow but I would not hesitate to eat in, even now, the tables were spaced out and the place feels very open and bright, with the high ceiling. We ordered a Billy burger, a large poutine, a sub, a cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings, a chicken burger and fries. Let me start by saying the poutine was huge and it was really good. It had a nice dark gravy. We all shared it along with the fries and onion rings and there were leftovers of all 3. On to the burgers and sub: The sub was very good and flavourful, the burgers were good but I guess we were waiting for a bit more of a wow. There was a lot of expectation, though because of all the hype so maybe we were hoping for an even better burger than everywhere else. It was only the first week so I am thinking it will get even better over time. Wonderful restaurant! Lots of choice, friendly staff and delicious food. We went in and told the worker we had never been there before and they took the time to tell us about the menu and tell us about the offers. My mum and I took advantage of one of the offers and had 2 crispy chicken burgers for $12 and we added fries. The burgers were delicious, the chicken was lovely and thick, the sauce worked perfectly and when it came, it was lovely and hot. The fries were very good too, I like crispy fries and they were perfect for me. I love how they came unsalted as well so you could add whatever condiments you liked. Having read good reviews on Billy K’s, I decided to try it out myself. The set up felt like a typical fast food hotdog, burger joint, I went simple and ordered a double burger, fries and drink. The burger had your standard condiments with a special sauce reminiscent of having a Big ‘M’. The fries were very good. Crispy not overcooked. Items are reasonably priced and won’t hurt your budget! The establishment is very clean and service is friendly and informative. Seating at this location is about 30. Plenty of parking in the front lot. Would definitely return and try more of the menu.
