Update: An experience with a restaurant can only be as good as the people you have the pleasure or displeasure of interacting with. My previous experience left a sour taste in my mouth, which is why when i was contacted by Mr.Gareau-Cyr, I had low expectations. I could not have been more wrong! He took the time to contact me, get the timeline on what happened and made sure to listen and ask pertinent questions about the experience. I was then compensated for the bad experience and today when i took advantage of that compensation he made sure to come to the counter and ensure the rebate was properly applied and subsequently say hi. He even cracked a joke about the meal being free if there was something missing before proceeding to steal the bag of popcorn. ( and returning of course). Truly made things right and i was left convinced that whatever led to the initial mistake was... or will be corrected appropriately. Which is a feeling i rarely get from other mistakes when ordering for pickup.
Initial review: Did pickup a week ago. Ordered the trio offensive. Supposed to come with popcorn. I noticed i didn't have any so i asked the receptionist and she told me it didn't come with popcorn. Got home and checked the website to find out she was wrong. Called back immidiately and was told too bad, we are too busy, call back later. Called back at 10, was told it could be fixed online.... that was wrong. Then called back 2 days later and they took my number but haven't heard since. So basically, if they don't get your order right, tooooooo baaaddddd! They couldn't care less... they already have your money. That's my last...
   Read moreWent for dinner with my fiance to La Cage in Vaudreuil last night. We were segued by the bar at a table. The host was amazing, very friendly and explained club cage to us so I downloaded the app and signed up.
A few minutes late a server came up and she took our drink order, another server came up and just as she was starting talk the first brought our drinks and the second server said âyouâre lucky since you have 2 of usâ that was the last time either of the 2 servers came to our table or said anything us. We sat there for over 30 min waiting for our order to be taken as the servers walked by our table 6 times. There were 2 tables that were seated after us and they were looked after and placed their order while we were ignored.
We got up and walked out and asked the host to speak to a manager. He went to get him and came back and said heâs âreally busy right nowâ. Not what I wanted to hear after waiting over half hour to have nobody acknowledge us. He asked if there was anything he could do and I explained the situation to him, he was very apologetic and asked if we wanted to be seated in another section but we had somewhere to go and didnât have time. He said he will take down my name and phone number and the manger will give me a call. Itâs now been over 24hrs and I have yet to receive a phone call. The whole situation was and is being handled unprofessionally with a huge lack a customer service except for the host who was amazing.

   Read moreGot seated fast but then waited a ridiculously long time for the menus, then to order our drinks which we said we were also ready to order food but she didn't take the order for the food. We had 3 young kids under 4 with us and they were already starting to be over it. We were hungry. Drinks arrive about 20 minutes later and we finally order our food. Another 20 minutes to receive the entrees and we asked for the kids plates. She waited for our entrees to be finished before putting in our main meals through the kitchen. Waited about 45 minutes for our tartares to arrive which mine was tasteless. Didnt even bother saying a thing I simply left it a quarter eaten and we asked for the bill. We were fed up. Hubby asked for another beer during his main meal and it was forgotten twice!! She came twice at the table to see us empty-handed and then blamed the forgotten beer on the computer system. Kids deserts she offers mr.freeze which the kids get excited about and then comes back to say they arent frozen enough. Anyways we are usually happy with this place but today we are over it. Hoping you guys find more staff because we for sure wont be back with this kind of...
