I am absolutely blown away by the fact that this place has any positive reviews at all! Two visits have confirmed that this restaurant has a COMPLETE disregard for their clientele.
The second time (and last time) was worse than the first. I went to eat lunch here with 3 of my old co-workers one afternoon. To start it off, they made us switch tables twice (no big deal, right?).
Well... the fun began when we ordered our food. The waiter got 2 of the orders wrong after we had waited 45 minutes to get our meals. We just ignored it and ate what we were given.
As we started eating, the guy cleaning up the place started moping up the floors around our feet. The smell of Mr. Clean was HORRENDOUS and two of us immediately lost our appetites. When I brought up the fact that the smell of Mr. Clean was really strong to the waiter, he joked about how there was also a bit of Mr. Clean in the water I was given. Not funny at all. I asked why we were seated in an area that was being cleaned, never got an answer.
I forget some of the details as this was a while ago but we all ended up taking our food to go and left with our eyes wide in shock at the way we were treated.
Advice to the owner, don't have a guy cleaning up the floors right underneath a table where people are eating, especially when the mop is drenched in chemicals. It's a surefire way to gross people out. Also, I would look into making sure your waiting staff are treating their customers with the least...
Read moreThis is one of my wife’s and my favorite breakfast spots in the area. The food is consistently excellent and served quickly. What really sets this place apart is the staff , they’re always friendly and professional.
That said, there are a couple of things that could be improved. The specialty coffees, like lattes and espressos, aren’t great, the flavor is off, and I’m not sure if it’s the beans or something else. Also, the entrance area is a bit cramped; when there’s a line, you end up standing awkwardly close to people trying to enjoy their meal. The tables near the door are especially rough in the winter, as you get hit with a blast of cold air every time someone comes in. I’m usually not sensitive to the cold, but even I found it uncomfortable on really chilly days.
Overall, despite these small issues, this is a solid breakfast place. If they tweaked the coffee and the layout a bit, it would easily be...

The food here was awesome, but our waiter Dylan? He was the real MVP.
This guy was on point from start to finish. He didn't just take our order; he actually cared about how we wanted our food. Like, he asked if we wanted our sausages cut butterfly style - ummm what…yes please!? And when we asked for hot sauce, he didn't just dump some random bottle on our table. He was like, "You want Frank's? Sriracha? Something else?"…options, option, options!
Dylan seemed genuinely happy to be there, which was refreshing. He kept good eye contact, cracked a few jokes, and just made the whole experience fun.
Our bill was only 50 bucks. But man, Dylan's service was so good, I felt like I had to leave him a $20 tip. Not because I had to, but because he totally deserved it.
If you're looking for great food and even better service, hit this place up. Ask for Dylan if you can - you...
