At the heart of Afghan Madar's extraordinary dining experience lie three exceptional dishes that elevate this restaurant to culinary greatness:

Pulao: A Symphonic Masterpiece

The restaurant's pulao is nothing short of a revelation. Each grain of rice tells a story of meticulous preparation, perfectly seasoned and cooked to a sublime texture that speaks to generations of culinary tradition. The delicate balance of spices, the light, fluffy consistency, and the depth of flavor make this pulao a benchmark of Afghan cuisine.

Kababs: Spice Alchemy and Culinary Precision

The kababs represent a pinnacle of culinary craftsmanship. Spiced with an expert hand, each morsel is a testament to the chef's understanding of flavor complexity. The meat is cooked to absolute perfection - a delicate balance of char and tenderness that reveals a profound mastery of grilling technique. Each bite is a harmonious blend of spices that dance across the palate, telling a story of traditional Afghan cooking methods.

Aash: A Soup of Extraordinary Depth The aash emerges as a standout dish that captures the soul of Afghan comfort cuisine. Rich, complex, and deeply satisfying, this soup transcends the ordinary, offering a nuanced blend of flavors that warm both body and spirit. It's a dish that speaks to the heart of Afghan culinary tradition.

Beyond these exceptional dishes, Afghan Madar offers a complete dining experience that celebrates the rich tapestry of Afghan cuisine. The restaurant is more than a meal - it's a cultural journey, a narrative told through carefully crafted flavors and impeccable hospitality.

An absolute must-visit for those seeking an authentic, transformative culinary experience. Afghan Madar doesn't just serve food; it preserves and celebrates a rich gastronomic heritage!

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for an absolutely extraordinary dining experience to Lida, our host/owner. The warmth, hospitality, and genuine passion for sharing Afghan cuisine made our visit truly memorable. From the moment we walked in, we were treated not just as customers, but as honored guests.

The way we were guided through the menu, explained the intricacies of each dish, and ensured our complete satisfaction was nothing short of exceptional. The pulao, the perfectly spiced kababs, and the soul-warming aash were culinary revelations that spoke volumes about the rich traditions of Afghan cooking.

Your attention to detail, from the welcoming atmosphere to the impeccable service, transformed our meal from a simple dining experience into a genuine cultural journey. The passion and pride you show in representing your cuisine is truly inspiring.

Thank you for creating such a remarkable dining environment and for sharing the incredible flavors of Afghan cuisine with such grace and hospitality. Afghan Madar is not just a restaurant - it's a testament to the beauty of culinary tradition and warm...

From the moment you step into this incredible Afghani restaurant, you are transported to a different world — one filled with the warm aromas of spices, the inviting ambiance of traditional décor, and the heartfelt hospitality that Afghanistan is so deeply known for.

The menu is a masterpiece in itself, offering an authentic and diverse selection of dishes that celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Afghanistan. Every plate is a burst of flavors — delicately spiced, perfectly balanced, and cooked with obvious love and tradition.

We started with the ‘Mantu’ (steamed dumplings filled with seasoned ground beef and onions), which were incredibly soft, juicy, and topped with a creamy yogurt sauce and lentils — absolute perfection. The ‘Bolani’(pan-fried stuffed flatbread) was crispy on the outside and packed with flavorful potatoes and herbs inside. A wonderful starter to set the tone!

For the main course, the ‘Kabuli Pulao’ stole the show — fluffy basmati rice cooked with tender lamb, sweet carrots, raisins, and a gentle blend of spices. Each bite was a harmonious mix of savory and sweet. The ‘Lamb Kebab’ and ‘Chicken Tikka’ were grilled to smoky perfection, juicy and seasoned exquisitely. You can taste the authenticity in...

I recently dined at Afghan Mader cuisine and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a beautiful decor that set the perfect mood for the evening. The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home.

The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was crafted with care, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. which was fresh and flavorful, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The main dish was a highlight—perfectly cooked and seasoned, with each bite more delightful than the last. For dessert, we enjoyed all the food which were the perfect sweet ending to an already perfect meal.

Overall, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. Whether you’re looking for a special night out or a cozy place for a family gathering, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be returning soon!

What a hidden gem located in a very busy plaza with many food options around. Don't miss out, hidden in the corner next to very busy Marcellos. Give it a try, we came on a very slow Sunday evening and tried the beautifully, painstakenly handmade Mantu, Afghani dumplings, with a delicious Lentil sauce and youghurt. These 8 dumplings were so juicy and filling. Then we had a kebab platter of chicken tikka and koobideh kabobs with beautiful rice that we upgraded to quabli, with the plumpest juiciest raisins and carrot topping for extra $2.99 very well worth it, served with homemade flat bread, lovely saffron tea. So lovingly prepared and authentically made. A true gem of a restaurant all made with 💕. Hands up to Liva, not sure of the spelling, she made the beautiful mantu and chatted with us about her food from her country. If we lived closer we would definately be frequenting this establishment. You gotta try it! 5 ⭐️

Nice bright and clean restaurant. Food not that great. Not sure how long but food arrives VERY late. So if ur in a rush, maybe go to Bamiyan Kabab. Tried their 3 skewers chicken with rice and naan $39. I ordered tandoori chicken, it tasted oily, dry and dark meat. Not at all what I was expecting. Served with basmati rice and small bowl of salad. Onion in the salad were stinky as if they were rotten. Do not order it this platter, no worth money or taste. Any other afghan restaurant has better kabab that this place. But the ASH- noddles and some crush chick pea were amazing!!! Definitely coming back for that. BOLANI was also decent and probably would taste good with chai. No hot sauce, condiment is sour yogurt and green tangy chutney.
