Faema Caffe — Restaurant in Vaughan

I have been a loyal 3/4 time a week customer spending a great deal of money, but a recent experience will Never let me set foot in this place again.... I asked for their Croscant with egg and cheese but as usual the plain is sold out 30 minutes after they open because they don't understand inventory.... I said to the girl in a very kind way , I don't like your toast bread or your foccacio, so do you have anything else...She said we have Panino.. I said perfect ... a few minutes later, an egg and foccacio sandwich came out .. I said to the girl this is foccacio.. she took it back and then proceeded to not come back .. 20 min later I said what's going on ? she proceeded to tell me that I am complaining and can't make u happy... remember again 4 years almost every morning.

I ask for bill and the another person comes over... the son of the manager and he proceeds to tell me that I was rude... I got a foccacio that was supposed to be a panino and when I asked if this was a panino ... she ran away with the plate and ignored me and served tables right next to me...

I have to say .. I lost it ... very awful... piece of advice .. they only care about selling coffee machines and the customers who are there are just an after thought... truth from their own admission.. See...

One of the worst cafe experiences I’ve had — avoid Faema at all costs.

I went to Faema today with my mom hoping to enjoy a simple coffee and pastry. We ordered two coffees and a slice of loaf cake. As I was about to eat it, I noticed actual mold on the loaf. Disgusting. I told the girl working there (dirty blond hair) and instead of apologizing or even seeming remotely concerned, she casually said she’d give me a “fresh” croissant instead.

Fine. Except 20 minutes went by — we finished our coffees — and nothing. No croissant, no update, not even a glance in our direction. When I finally went to follow up, she acted annoyed and rude, and literally just said “okay bye.” No explanation. No pastry. No apology. Just… bye.

Absolutely unacceptable customer service, and serving moldy food is inexcusable. Do yourself a favour and go literally...

Extremely disappointed in the service. This place was not busy but the staff still ignored us for some time. We went here for the 1st time looking for a good espresso bean and some deserts for a function we were attending that day. 1st we asked a young man how much the connolis were and he juat walked away. We then waited for thw women to recommend a good expresso bean and inquired if could test one. We were abruptly told no they were not serving that one. I did try one they were serving. We decided to but 2 bags of expresso beans and 12 connolis. Almost $80 later we realized we did not receive the sale price on one of the bags of beans. We were told it was ok because we were not charged for the one shot of espresso i tried . Seriously will not return here again. Horrible service and...
