This was the worst experience ever. We ordered 3 drinks, one was Matcha Milk Tea hot, two were triple milk tea with Crystal Boba, 50% honey. When we picked up the drinks and went to our car, the hot tea cover lid popped up suddenly ( I checked, the lid and it wasn’t closed properly, it was halfway opened!), and it spilled all around my car seat and my son who was holding the burning tea. Also the triple milk tea we usually order, which was missing Crystal Boba. When we called the store and reported the issue, the front desk(female) listened to our complaints very patiently and apologized to us, and said she will re-make all three drinks for us. We understand everyone can make mistakes, with this quick response and excellent customer service, they deserve a second chance. This is our first time we made a complaint and we were so glad to hear what they promised to do. So we went back which took 25 mins driving and thought we were going to get our bubble teas replaced. Unfortunately, the guy who claims to be the manager of the store showed up in the front desk, and as expected they did replace the hot drink, but instead of replacing the other drinks they decided to give us a cup of crystal boba??? My husband was so mad because the girl who answered the phone, promised to remake all drinks. If we knew that they would just gave us a cup of Boba, we wouldn’t drive 25 mins all the way back to the store, wasting our time and gas! Also the manger's attitude was so rude and unprofessional. He did not even say sorry for the hot drink spilled all over my car seat and my son!
We were so disappointed and you know what, we are not coming back any more. I don't need your Boba, and I don't need your offer for 1 dollar refund. I just want to let more people know how you treat your customers with such unrespectful attitude. By the way, the store we went is the one at Vaughan Rutherford. I hope the rude manager is gone soon! His colleague handles complaints...

I can get the hate/love for Chatime ... I've only been to most Chatimes during the slow times and I've never had too much issue with service. This spot has better parking than others but I can see this spot being overwhelmed easily.
Consistency is what brings me to Chatime over others. Their drinks are not the best but I know I will get a good Black Pearl milk tea each and every time. The stores itself are hit and miss... this one is medium sized with about 10 tables available. The cleanliness is not the best but it's certainly not the worst like the one at UofT where it's just like student housing.
The menu provides a lot of options... I do appreciate how they show you their top 10 so if you're ever stuck, you can't go too wrong with any of those choices. So you like slushies... lots of options. Milk teas... have them all and they're actually tea based. Juices... they're good but they're really not juice. And they have many others.
Service today was quick as there was only 1 person before me. To get the drink wasn't so bad... only maybe 5 minutes which is reasonable.
Black Pearl Milk Tea - Good tea flavour and the usual that Chatime is known for. I like how this place uses real tea. At half sweet, this was enough to give you that nostalgic Bubble Tea memory without the sugar crash. The pearls was soft but not overcooked. I think Chatime is quite consistent in good...
Read moreThis is my last review for chattime franchise as well as my last visit to any chattime across the world. First, can you call this drink Mango slush? The photo was taken right after we got our drink back in car (car was parked in front of the store). The cashier lady saying the drink was like that due to long waits after the drink was been made. The funny thing the drink was like that when we picking it up when the order was ready. Second, there were some ppl lined behind us when we ordered, we have been waiting there watching they were making other ppl order whom ordered after us. So the time when our order was ready there was no line no one there to getting there order expect us. Oh right at that time we were the only Chinese ethnicity customer waiting in line. Third, when we were leaving the store as we getting our order finally, a couple of employees started making sharp silly laughing mocking noise. Lol if this is not a racial profiling I couldn't come up any other reason to explain this. Had Chattime first time 15 years ago when they had ground opening in dt by uoft. Was pretty good. I don't know what is happening now. But I see it is funny when minority does racial stuff at another minority. Goodbye chattime. Anyways both me and my son felt being humiliated...
