Oh my God there is no option to select zero star so I have no choice but to select one star the worst experience ever I mean ever I don't know how the manager at Major Mackenzie and Jane Street McDonald's location ever became a manager he literally attacked us with with with very bad attitude didn't care about customers, he had no skills of customer service whatsoever he actually stopped serving customers because he was a bit busy but it wasn't to that extreme where he actually ask his employee to stop serving us and use the big self service tablet where we can do ur own orders and when the customer in front of us told him that he doesn't know how to use it the manager actually came from behind the counter and right in his face and told him why not the customer was literally shot he turned around and looked at us shocked the way the manager approached him I did not know at the moment he was the manager so when I asked one of the employees that I wanted to speak to the manager he ignored us he ignored employee and when I insisted he came right on my face as well and told me with attitude (what) and when I explain to him how I felt about the situation and the service he basically didn't care at all and just walked away from me and when I asked him again what is your name and what's your schedule time where I can come and maybe in better time that I can speak with you about the way you're treating your customers he basically again couldn't care less he walked away he didn't give me his name he said I'm not going to tell you when my shift ends and he walked away so I had no choice but to ask one of the employee for head office phone number which they give me a wrong phone number that does not exist so I had to search on my own and find out the head office phone number and call to make the complain and I'm still waiting for somebody to contact me and let me know if they had actually done anything about the situation again the worst experience ever we were shocked with my wife and 3 kids it was my two kids birthdays their friends parents were with us they actually left we all left from that location we did not make any order and it basically ruined everybody's days and one of the customers actually approach me and told me that this is not the first time this manager is doing this and when I had discussed the situation with the family I was told by a family member that they had noticed similar situation in the past with the same managerwe also we noticed something strange that the employees were kind of scared from him cuz when we asked for his name after he refused to give it to us by 6he way his name was peter please poeple pay attention...
Read moreMy family and I have just been racially discriminated against by a Manager here who directed an employee to tell my husband, 8 year old stepson and I that we had to leave becauae we were playing UNO after we ate our meal which goes against the rules at McDonalds. Note: We come to this location EVERY week, clean our table (as the tables are always dirty and we have never complained). After we eat, we quietly play a few rounds of UNO and leave. There are other families and groups of friends inside the restaurant who do their own thing but conveniently our black family was targeted tonight.
When asked to see the rule against playing UNO and the name of the Manager, our requests were refused. The manager then relayed to the employee by phone that he didn't realize we were actually playing UNO and thought it was something else because they had a recent incident of card playing. This whole thing was extremely embarrassing, especially for my stepson, who, at 8 years of age, knew this made absolutely no sense. This manager was too cowardly to even come to address us prior to passing us on his way out but quickly called the restaurant to direct this employee to do his bidding. The most disgusting part of this is the fact he had the gall to say that McDonalds is a family restaurant as if we are just random black people and not a family like the other non-black people in the restaurant. This establishment has clearly gotten too much of our hard earned money and can never be graced with our presence moving forward. I will have to do business where black families...
Read moreWe placed our order at 7:16 pm, and by 7:18 pm, our number had disappeared from the order service screen. Our food arrived at 7:22 pm, but it was clear that part of the order had been left sitting while they waited for other items. I ordered a quarter pounder without cheese, medium fries, and a small root beer. My partner ordered the new Big Arch sandwich, medium fries, and a Fruitopia.
When we sat down, the fries were only semi-warm, the burger patties were overcooked and burnt, and instead of the quarter pounder without cheese, I received a quarter pounder with double cheese. Additionally, the root beer was flat, so I had it replaced with a Sprite. The replacement quarter pounder was still overcooked/burnt but at least hot.
The restaurant had a nice atmosphere but was marred by dirty tables, high chairs, and overflowing garbage bins. Another customer also complained about the wait time and returned his drink as well, and got a refund for waiting 6 minutes for a burger. It would be great to see McDonald's return to their old system from the 80s, with consistently fresh food, hot fries, and better customer service. Having to place our own orders has now become so overrated and the staff still gets the orders wrong! Unfortunately we forgot to take a picture of the burgers!!! Photos best I could do to avoid taking photos of...
