Molisana Bakery — Restaurant in Vaughan

I Wouldn’t even give this one star but I have no choice

Today I thought to myself I haven’t been here in a while I use to work within the area and I would easily stop by here 3 times a week for lunch for around 5-6 years I miss coming here as I was craving a nice hot meal for lunch.

I wanted a piece of chicken with broccoli and peppers as a meal for lunch. I was rudely told I can’t have what I wanted for lunch as the Valentine’s Day “special” is the special for $30.00 plus tax take it or leave it this isn’t mc Donald’s I was told.

I know this review won’t go far but I felt disrespected in the way I was spoken to as a paying customer for many years.

I also wanted to sit down to go through catering options for friends party to feed 40 people but I will take my business elsewhere.

I will never in my life step foot back in this establishment I hope the owners or manager can accommodate other customers in a matured and well mannered fashion. and to not treat paying customers like mountain donkeys from Italy.

But hey I guess that’s what happens when the staff is no younger then 75 working the...

My wife and I were recently in the Woodbridge Ontario area and decided to stop for lunch. In searching google maps we came across this restaurant/bakery “Molisana Bakery”. The place looked decent from the outside and the inside was aesthetically pleasing and clean. The place had a fair amount of people traffic (just purchasing items and leaving) and many people eating their lunch there. The cuisine is Italian and has coffee, baked goods and a good size food bar with numerous choices for Italian Foods. They also do Catering. We had a Pork Sandwich, Cappuccino, a Cannoli and a Cream Filled Sweet Roll. The lunch was excellent, and the service was friendly and quick. We decide to order more of the pork to take home for dinner for the rest of the family. They absolutely loved it. The price was moderate, and portions of food were well worth the money spent. We will definitely go back when we are...

Sooo... I picked up four zeppoli and two tarts this morning for the office. The zeppoli were stale. The custard had that hard crust on it from when you leave it out too long. These were definitely NOT made in the last 24 hours. I suspect they were left over from Friday. I called molisana and told them about it. I did not ask for them to be replaced but I was expecting that they would have said to bring them back and they woukd have replaced them or given me my money back. Nope! Instead, how about their response . . ," Sorry about that". Really?? I ended up throwing them out. That's the last time I buy pastries at Molisana bakery.... And..... The last time I'll refer people to go there when they ask me where there's a good place to eat. This experience kind of 'Left a bad taste in my mouth'...
