I've been coming to this location the last few weeks and service has been good. Unfortunately, today didn't live up to the same standards. The cashier asked for my order and I said 2 pc chicken combo, spicy, and I asked if the spice is in the batter, the response "no, the chicken is mild and you have to use the spicy ghost pepper sauce".
Hmmm, if you've ever been on the Popeye's website it tells you there are 2 flavors of chicken: mild or spicy. Am I to assume that the website is asking if I order takeout that they will include a spicy sauce in my bag? Why has the supervisor who always serves me always asked me mild or spicy when I purchase a 2 pc combo every week? Is it so they know to put a ghost pepper sauce in my bag when they are packing the order? I always get mild chicken but my dad wanted something spicy today. I figured this was one of our go-to spots, I picked wrong...
Train your staff properly because the cashier had trouble with the customer behind me as well. The employee was asked if the fries come non-cajun and the response was "yes, they come regular". I replied to the customer "No, they only have cajun fries" after which the customer chose a different side. This wasn't the employee's first day on the job as I've seen her before but never taking my orders.
Overall I would give the store a 3.5/5 for previous days and a 1 star for today. The food quality was inconsistent but that's normal with most fast food restaurants nowadays. Place your order, don't ask questions and you will be fine...
Read moreI recently visited Popeyes after seeing posters all around promoting their new Boneless Wings. These posters were both inside and outside the shop, clearly stating that the item was available at the location I was visiting. Excited to try them, I went to place my order, but the server, Gagan, reacted as if such an item didn't exist on their menu. When I pointed to the poster, she explained that the cooking staff was new and didn't know how to prepare them, so they couldn't make them.
Accepting this, we decided to order the Classic Deluxe Chicken Sandwiches instead. However, Gagan informed us that they didn't have tomatoes and lettuce. Left with no other option, we settled for the Classic Chicken Sandwiches with sides of onion rings and fries. When our order finally arrived, the sandwiches tasted like they had been made a long time ago and left sitting on the counter for too long. It was the worst experience I've had at Popeyes so far.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid this location if you don't want to ruin your meal time. Additionally, I request that management refrain from displaying posters about menu items that the staff doesn't know...
Read moreI visited this location today and ordered 2 special and few other things. Waited 8 minutes for my order, and when I arrived home, I found out that I only got 1 of today's special. Then I looked for my recipe and it was not in the bag. So I drove back to the store to verify with my food. The manager told me that I should have called the store to verify if I paid for 2 of the special. At the point, she is blaming me vs. taking ownership of the mistake with my order.
Can someone let me know how calling would fix my issue? How would I get the missing chicken if I called?
I would still have to drive to the store to get the food I needed to feed my family, and the original order would still get cold while I sorted this all out.
This manager didn't apologize for the error, nor did she see fit to compensate me for the inconvenience due to the incorrect order being processed.
