Pasha Kebab (formerly Beyoglu Kebab) is a Turkish restaurant in Vaughan and was a random restaurant we stumbled upon. Honestly, we were glad to find a gem like this, where everything from food, service, and ambiance was spectacular.
š„āļø This menu is 100% halal and has so many options to choose from (pide, platters, kebabs). We ordered the Mixed Appetizer, Combo for Two, and Mixed Pide.
Mixed Appetizer (10/10)
Comes with Hummus, Babaganush, Cacik, Acili Ezme
Comes with free unlimited bread fresh out of the oven
Everything is extremely fresh and a wonderful surprise of flavor
Combo for Two (9/10)
Comes with 1 Adana skewer, 1 chicken skewer, mix doner, 1 beef skewer, 4 chicken wings, white rice & bulgur rice, salad
This was a good mix to try everything out, and honestly, it was worth the purchase
The combo came with flaming fire on a huge wooden platter
The quality matches the quantity
Mixed Pide (9/10)
Comes with beef shawarma, chicken shawarma, sucuk, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese
Everything was hot and fresh, and there was even a cheese pull with the mozzarella cheese
Complimentary Tea (10/10)
This was a cute gesture by Pasha Kebabs
It was served in cute cups, tasted phenomenal, and refreshing way to end our dinner
š Good hours and is open til 10 pm. It has plenty of seating available including many booths and space to seat family and friends.
šæāØļø The aesthetics of this place is cute and vintage. They have curtains on each window by each booth, and some of the booths have seating near the window to the kitchen so you could see your food being freshly made. They also have TVs in each corner so you have some entertainment.
š¤ Customer service is amazing, and our server Dilber Edis went above and beyond. She kept checking in on us throughout our stay, made phenomenal recommendations, and made us feel very welcome. Our visit here felt like we were visiting family/friends. Everything was kept clean and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped by here for dinner after catching a movie. Hadnāt had kebab in a while and wanted something a bit away from the usual spots in Scarborough or downtown. Decided to try somewhere more on the north side this time. Since it was our first visit, we kept it simple. I went with the mix doner, a friend had the same, and another in our group tried the Adana kebab. We also shared a Lahmacun. The place was quiet at the time but well-kept and pretty comfortable inside. Not the cheapest place out there but also not over the top either. Fair middle ground. One thing I noticed was that service couldāve been a bit more attentive. Either the server or a man who seemed to be the owner was friendly but a little hard to follow when we asked questions or tried to make requests. Nothing serious, but just something that couldāve made the experience a lot smoother. That aside, the food itself was really enjoyable. Appetizers were solid, generous portions and they came out quick too. The mains werenāt over-spiced, which I personally liked. There was a nice balance going on, kind of a clean and hearty vibe. Meats were juicy and well-seasoned, and the amount of greens on the plate made everything feel a bit lighter, not greasy or overwhelming. Lahmacun came in a shy bigger cuts, which made it nice for wrapping with veggies but also meant fewer pieces to share around. If youāre looking for a bold or spicy Turkish experience, this oneās more on the mild and comforting side. But the way they handled the meat and kept the flavors balanced really stood out. Iāve had Turkish food at a few other spots in the GTA that might be flashier or spicier, but this one felt thoughtful. Because of that, Iād honestly come back again to try one of the bigger platters. It feels like the kind of place that quietly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe went to the restaurant and as soon as we approached the door to go in, the manager was already waiting for us there to say that we were not allowed to go in since they explained that no SERVICE DOGS were allowed (which is illegal under Ontario law). We showed them the documentation of my dog and even tried to show them what the law states, but the manager started raising his voice and saying he was getting angry and frustrated and that we better leave. My husband has a disability for which he requires his service Dog to be with him at public places and we dine out all the time. He always has his documentation with him, and even in previous occasions, staff of this restaurant had taken photos of the documents to share with the manager and ensure we could stay. It is very unfortunate that restaurants are not well informed of the rights of a person who requires a service animal and even more that they respond to an honest review with lies and nonesense. A service dog handler always carries their documentation and this was shown not only this time to the manager himself, who said their lawyer told them they were in the ārightā to refuse the entrance of service animals, but also to other staff in the restaurant who even took photos of the documents. Not sure if whoever responded to my comment is confusing my case with someone elseās. We even had to file a report with Vaughan city and Ontario province regarding this incident, as it is...
