Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Vaughan

Stopped in to get lunch with my son ordered a three-piece tender platter and a three piece platter order two mashed potatoes and gravy with the first platter and red beans and rice and mac and cheese for the second platter the manager was waving his hand in a hurry up motion while we were ordering no one behind us no other person in the restaurant didn't say anything took our food left to go home upon returning home found that the platter had one mashed potato and gravy and one container of just gravy no mashed potatoes. Call the store ask for the manager unfortunately I understand the language the woman who answered the phone told the manager they want to speak with the manager the manager then told her just say you're the manager she then came on the phone and tried to change her voice when I informed her that I understood what they had said and I requested to speak to the real store manager I then told him that one of my mashed potatoes and gravy was only gravy no mashed potatoes he then told me the lady who made it said oh I put mashed potatoes in both I then said I would be on my way to prove to him that that was not true when I arrived I was told that Popeyes platters gravy is a side so I got one mashed potato and gravy and just one gravy that's the standards of Popeyes I then informed them that that was ridiculous and I'd never have that happen in the past and I was told that that's how it served. I've escalated this to a higher person not only was I lied to about who I was speaking with second I was told that their policy is to give people one mashed potato with gravy and one gravy in a platter I have escalated it to the highest level I suggest no one visit this restaurant not only are they liars and cheaters when called on the table the customers always wrong apparently. DON’T EAT HERE!!! ALL 5-STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE. I won’t eat here again unless the grocery store runs out of canned dog food.

Here is an honest review of this establishment:

Service: When I walked in, I was greeted by a unkept man wearing a tight and seemingly unwashed uniform. Serving food without a without a hair net for his beard .He begrudgingly took my order, then misled me into wasting 30 minutes of my life, despite promising it would only take 4. Eventually, he handed me a bag with three of the smallest tenders I have ever seen from a Popeyes—which happened to be undercooked and gooey.

Cleanliness: When it comes to cleanliness, this restaurant has none. Neither the cook nor the person assembling the food was wearing a hair net, and the dining area was a mess, with napkins, sauce stains, and drink spillage all over the tables and floor.

Food: The food was subpar, and small is an understatement. When spending close to $10 on a snack, you expect some level of satisfaction—however, that wasn’t the case. The tenders were miniature and not fully cooked, with a gooey, doughy batter. I also ordered spicy tenders but received regular ones.

Overall Review: If you value yourself and your life, do not eat here. If you don’t care about money or personal health, please be my guest and enjoy your meal—but heed my warning: this location shouldn’t have the right to call themselves Popeyes.

A 1-STAR REVIEW DOESN’T COMPARE TO THE COMPLETE DISSATISFACTION I FEEL AFTER LEAVING THIS ONE...

This is by far, the slowest place ever, they will chince you on food. ANYTHING you order will take 15+ minutes because they never have any food prepared to save $$ (and that's not an exaggeration). I can drive to a popeyes that's 15 mins further away, get my food from there and still be home faster than going to this location. Absolutely awful service. The other thing is that's so important to mention is you are supposed to recieve half white meat and half dark meat when you order chicken. Everytime I have ordered from this location, I pretty much only recieved dark meat. 8 pieces, 12 pieces, doesn't matter... You will be getting mostly/all dark meat (again another way of clearly saving on food costs).. your fountain drinks will also be watered down here (again probably saving them $). If you enjoy feeling like you're getting screwed over for the amount of food you recieve, then this is the place for you.
