My experience with service and product at the 7700 Bathurst location: I went in asked for a medium regular coffee. She asked me how many sugars and milk. I advised her anyway, and mentioned cream instead. She explained we have milk only. I laughed- your name has cafe in it... never mind sure. She asked a waitress in an other language to make me a coffee. I noticed she was turning the craft completely upside down to fill the cup. I said, "forget it don't want coffee anymore." She said, "why!" all angry for some reason. I let them know I will not be drinking bottom of the craft coffee, and I don't know how many hours old it is. She said, "okay do you want a fresh coffee?" I said, "really!?" In the end, I think I still ended up with old coffee, because the "fresh coffee" was ready way too fast and it was warm and tasted like dirty water. I had left by then, and I didn't bother going back in, it wouldn't end well. I Just threw the coffee in garbage lost about 3 dollars for a medium cup of swill. In the end the owner was angry that I wanted fresh coffee and she was speaking Hebrew I believe, to the other person to make my coffee. Taking the tone of her voice into consideration, and I don't think it takes a minute long sentence to say make a medium 1 sugar 1 milk. Even if she also used the word fresh in the sentence lol. (which I doubt) Really the place is a zero stars. It felt like an unwanted customer the minute...

My friends Shlomo Right and Angie Beauchem-Right more than highly recommended this restaurant because they are known for their Kosher Sushi and I took their word on it.
For Dinner, I had a Salmon Burger Sandwich with French Fries, plus I had a Sushi Platter and a Chocolate Milk Shake.
The Food Tasted Delicious!
The only problems that I had was with the Level Of Service because our first waitress was Extremely Slow that they had to Replace Her with another one by the name of Liz who was Quite Good except that I did Not receive my Chocolate Milk Shake until the very end of my meal and the Size Of The Milk Shake was Extremely Small compared to other ones that I have had at various restaurants in the past.
The only other problem that the restaurant had was that their Oven or Stove was Not Working during our restaurant visit which meant that food items such as Pizza were Not Available from the menu until they get their Oven or Stove Fixed!
Otherwise, I personally really enjoyed my food and restaurant experience for the most part.
I want to personally Thank Shlomo Right, Angie Beauchem-Right and Mrs. Lily Right for taking ME there back on Monday, July 31, 2017.
Sincerely yours,

Read moreOwner very nice guy, however one of his staff lacks an understanding of the concept of 'customer service', (and that isn’t only a result of her tenuous grasp on the English language). Lady is very rude, dismissive, and when I asked her if she had included maple syrup with the french toast, her reaction was almost as though I had made an offensive remark about her grandmother. She scoffed, and hardly acknowledged the question. French toast you would think would be made fresh, but she took it out of some plastic wrap, threw it onto her grilled cheese maker for about 45 seconds and served it cold. Though there was a hint of powdered sugar added onto it to make it seem fresh... In the words of an illustrious colleague: "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig"...
Take-away for the owner, so he doesn't have to read my long-winded remarks:
I am sure without racially profiling your employee, you know exactly who the rude and dismissive woman you have working your cash is. She should not be in a customer service role with her current mindset. Personally I would fire her...
Much of your food is decent. Don't try and make Challah french toast in 35 seconds... Do...
