On Saturday May 6th 2023 myself, Mom and both my Grandmothers went to Sunset Grill for breakfast. At first our server was a lady named Grace. Everyone (except me) ordered coffee.
When she came back I was looking at my phone and I heard the cups hit the table. I looked up and asked my Grandma why is her coffee in front of me. They said that the waitress threw the drinks down and she had a very bad attitude.
I advised he other waitress that I don’t want her serving us if she’s going to be rude.
A Filipino couple came and sue took their order. She was speaking to then in her language and for the rest of the time they were there they keep staring at us and looked upset.
I could be wrong but I don’t know if it’s a race thing (that is how my grandmother felt) but her behaviour was disgusting.
I’ve been there many times and never had bad service but this is now the second time I’ve dealt with her and I’m not impressed
grace needs to check her nasty attitude at the door or get a new job.
The other 2 young ladies were very helpful and friendly. If it wasn’t for them I would never dine in...
Read moreIm responding to Mel Chanq's review I believe your review on this place is absolute BS this place has the BEST customer service ever by far.. For you to sit down and call people names especially knowing the lady was pregnant you either have no kids or have no consideration for another pregnant woman but anyways enough about you and your selfish ways i was a black couple here and i got the best treatment ever and guess what that same pregnant lady was my waitress and she was extremly nice sometimes how you present yourself says alot about you because if I was a waitress there and judging by the way you speak and how immature you seem i would have placed you in the back as well.... Anyways with that said Sunset Grill is still the best place for people of any race to go and for that pregnant waitress I salute you to still be on your feet dealing with these racist people attacking you for no reason i give this place 5 stars and i will recommend this...
Read moreWent with my husband and toddler son one morning after an overnight trip. Food is good, basic breakfast meals I love because I didn't have to cook or clean up haha. I ordered the new blueberry lemonade, granted its basically sugar it was so tasty and sweet, paired well after a savoury meal.
The staff I think is basically teens or young adults, the boy that greeted us was confused and unsure of where to seat us and even took us wandering around the restaurant only to ask his colleague for help which she replied something like figure it out yourself because she was obviously busy. He frankly sat us down and got us a high chair shortly after.
There was a family nearby who abruptly left soon after we sat down, I overheard them saying they waiting too long for service. We were served in a rather appropriate timeframe so maybe it was just them.
The atmosphere is like any sunset grill, cozy morning...
