I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vivo Pizza + Pasta for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience. I chose this spot because of its convenient location, which is easily accessible and perfect for both solo dining and meeting up with friends.

Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the attentive staff. They were quick to greet me and made sure I was comfortably seated. I ordered the penne vodka al dente pasta, which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The texture was just right, and the flavours were well-balanced. It’s clear that they use fresh ingredients, which really enhances the overall taste.

The price point at Vivo Pizza + Pasta is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the level of service provided. It offers excellent value for money, which is always a bonus.

Although I didn’t get a chance to try it this time, I’ve heard great things about their calamari and will definitely order it on my next visit. The menu has a wide variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone.

Was there Sunday for a birthday celebration (party of 6). Reservations were made but unfortunately we had to dine outside (in the wind) as there was a private function going on and was told that they wanted the whole restaurant to themselves. I don't think that is proper etiquette for potential paying customers.

Service wasn't that great as before.. We think they were catering more to the private function party and forgot about us because we were the only other customers dining. Food was ok but the pizza crusts were slightly burnt. We noticed about an hour and half after dining, the private party inside was starting to leave... we asked to go inside and we were told that some of the people from the function were still there and they wanted to clean the tables for us. We decided to ask for the bill and leave and go elsewhere for dessert. If people want to have a private function, go to a Banquet Hall, there is enough of them...

We started off with the pizza on the featured menu which was pretty good. Nothing crazy to rave about but we enjoyed it. Then moved onto the pastas. The alfredo fettuccine was probably the best tasting one but it was inconvenient to peel the skin off the shrimp since it’s smothered in sauce. The rigatoni bolognese was decent but lacked a lot of flavour, the worst was the penne allá vodka with added Italian sausage. It had this awful distinctive taste that tasted nothing like penne allá vodka. After a few bites I was done. I also wanted to add the ambiance was not doing it for us, it had no Italian feel and the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. I normally don’t write bad reviews but we paid a lot for what we got and it simply was not worth it.
