This place has a really awesome atmosphere/vibe and style. True Italian. My first experience here… honestly fantastic. This was my second time, not fantastic.
We ordered two main dishes to share. The first one came, was a lobster pasta dish. Minuscule amount of lobster. It was mostly just shell. We’d be lucky to get a very small piece of meat every once in a while as we were cracking through the shell. There was a tiny amount pasta on the plate with hardly any sauce under it, had to really work it around with what little sauce there was. The pasta was also really hard. It was not Al Dente, was more like raw. So We complained. Our server seemed to almost take offence by our disappointment… he didn’t apologize or offer anything other than ‘would you like more lobster’ I said of course we would but not to pay for extra obviously. He said it’s supposed to be a half lobster. This was honestly not half of a lobster. I felt a lot more right to be offended than he did. He abruptly walked away and that was it. Felt a bit like a slap in the face. After the way he handled things we felt uncomfortable when he came to serve us our next dish. It was a fish that came w some salad. He cut the fish open and took it apart for us at our table but he left some pieces of fish on the skin that he didn’t bother to take off and took back with him. Although very simple and clean, I thought the fish was good but not for the price. Salad was literally just lettuce tomato that’s it. No dressing, or any kind of seasoning not even salt/pepper. Olive oil on the side, and whatever was left of the piece of lemon we had for the fish. Fish was the same thing. Again, simple and clean can be good however, this was a $55 dish. What made it worth that?
They had a large party going on and I understand if maybe we have to wait a little bit longer to be tended to but after the fish no one came back, not once. Not even after we started the fish to ask us how it was. We felt kind of kicked to the curb because they had a big party. Had to awkwardly attempt to wave someone down on more than one occasion. Really hate doing that.
This experience was a sad disappointment in comparison to the first. This restaurant is not cheap, and it’s a really nice place but we left feeling very regretful about all of it this...

If you don’t like to be ripping off, please stay away from this restaurant.
My wife, our son, and I were looking for a quick dinner at an Italian restaurant in our neighborhood because our son really likes Italian food. Unfortunately, the experience turned out to be horrible for all of us.
The location is not great—it’s in a light commercial industrial area. When we entered, no one was at the door or nearby to greet us, and there was no receptionist to guide us. Eventually, someone who looked like the owner found us. He seemed to be doing everything—owner, receptionist, server, and cashier. We waited a long time for someone to come to our table with menus or ask if we wanted water or any other drinks. When the server finally arrived, I clearly asked if they had a good house red wine, and he assured me they did. I’ve always understood that house wine usually doesn't come in a bottle, so when we saw him carrying a bottle of wine to another table, we were surprised when he suddenly poured it into our glasses without saying anything. The strangest thing was that their menu was not in English and had no descriptions. We asked for help with the menu and inquired about approximate prices. The server recommended a platter for $110 for three people. When the first portion of the food arrived, it was fine, but the next portion didn’t come until an hour and fifteen minutes later. By then, our appetite was gone, and we ended up packing the food to take home. At the end of the meal, the bill came to $340.00 for the platter and two glasses of wine, each barely four ounces. This was completely unacceptable. This is not a fancy restaurant—it's absolutely average in every way. The food was average, but the service was horrible, horrible, horrible, and horrible.
$113.33 per person??? What we had you could get in a very good other Italian restaurant $38-...
Read moreWe had our daughters first communion party here. The space is great for large functions, however they can not manage large events.
We asked to add something to the menu for the kids to eat and at the time, they seemed very accommodating, yet on the day of what we requested was not offered and many kids didn't eat their main course! Apparently from what I was told the owner didn't communicate that to his son and left for italy!
During the main course they cleaned up way too fast and some people didn't eat or finish their main! The menu that we discussed was not given to our guests and the meat was undercooked for most people to enjoy.
We wanted to have open bar so our guests could have a drink of their choice. There was no bartender available, the waiters or more like bus boys, didn't offer our guests a drink. When someone asked for a drink nothing was given. They served warm beer that was purchased one hour prior to the event!
I had to tell them to offer people coffee after they served the cake!
In addition, we had about five people with food allergies and food sensitivities we communicated this with the owner, prior to the day of. Again, he reassured us that this wasn't an issue and told us what our options were. On the day of we had to tell them numerous times who the people were with the food restriction and allergies and ended up giving one of our guest something they shouldn't have eaten. Thankfully they made them something else!
On the postivie side the food that was given was delicious. If you'd like to go for dinner then try it out but do not and I repeat do not have large gatherings here. The service was embarrassing and what you pay for will not...
