Di Manno Bakery — Restaurant in Vaughan

We decided to try this place since it recently opened nearby.

We had a breakfast sandwich, French toast, and coffee, and everything tasted really good. The bread is freshly made, and the bun is soft, like it's just come out of the oven.

However, we were a bit confused about the ordering process - whether we should wait for table service or place our order ourselves, and how the payment would work. It was a bit chaotic and nobody were to guide us given the crowd, but we assume they'll figure things out since they're newly opened.

What added to the experience was seeing few older folks serving and cooking, giving it a cozy, homely feel. And of course, the food was wonderfully fresh and tasty. Going...

We were in the area and by chance we came across this amazing Di Manno Bakery and cafe. Staff are super warm and friendly. Their selection of coffee, pastries and lunch offerings with many different protein and vegetable choices was outstanding! We had a lovely espresso and cannoli and sfogliatella. The broccolini was too delicious to not try as well. For sure we will drop in again next time we are in the area!

Sfogliatella pastry was light as air and crispy and the apricot filling was very flavorful. Brought me back to Naples! The cannoli was rich and decadent without being heavy. The pastry was also light and crispy. Both hit the spot just perfect! 👌

I bought on sale today, 5 bags of Villa Di Manno Stuffing Croutons from Walmart at Heartland in Mississauga... it’s a 567g bag of Croutons, bar code 778017009148. It was a good deal and I eat Croutons regularly so I bought 5 bags. It expires in July 2021. When I opened the foil bag the contents smelled like chemicals and it tasted just as bad. Did I just contaminate myself and compromised my health as a result?? Should I have them sent to the health department for analysis?? What’s my course of action here? U should have these taken off the shelf. They had a ton of them still left at Walmart. I tried sending a email but that kept failing. U may want to check...
