Food is absolutely horrible. The atmosphere is not it. The service was good. Ordered $300 worth a food. Did not enjoy anything.

I don’t understand restaurants nowadays. Is the new trend, expensive high ticket items with low quality? This was more expensive than other Italian fine dining and the food was all bland.

I love Italian food and we finally decided to try buca. And it was bad, I’m a huge foodie and the food here is not good. I’m telling you I can give you 10 places with better food and 50% cheaper down the street. I’d stay away from here.

Only people eating here are people who want to have the status of eating at “buca” and don’t be fooled with the high reviews they paying these kids on TikTok to come in for free and make a video for exchange of a free bill and good review. I cannot express how bad the food really was here I can’t.

Did I forget to mention, there’s NO PARKING. We had to park 10 minutes down the road and risked getting towed or ticketed in this cold weather.

We did not enjoy ANYTHING.

Also they have no traditional appetizers. We got a “cheese board” for $30 and came with SIX, yes 6 LITTLE pieces of cheese. When I tell you little, it was little. And same thing with the salumi board. Also ordered the fried eggplant as an appetizer and it was horrible. That’s all you have for appetizers besides bread that they will charge you $12 for. This place is a joke. Seriously. I don’t understand how places like this exist or get popular. Horrible food + horrible prices + boring atmosphere + small portions.

Don’t get me wrong I understand what you’re thinking, don’t go to expensive restaurants if the prices are too high. I been to nicer restaurants, cheaper restaurants. This place is just horrible. It’s principle, these prices for this type of food has to be illegal. It’s not justified.

I’d go anywhere but here for Italian food. I’d genuinely rather have scaddabush. If anyone tells you Buca is good, they are lying and want to seem hip and popular with the status. This place doesn’t have good food. I cannot stress it enough. DO NOT GO HERE. These high reviews are absolute lies.

Anyways, it’ll be my last time ever eating. First time and last time, HUGE disappointment. Saying the least.

If you like low quality, small portions, overly priced food with a boring atmosphere but want to look “rich” this is your spot!!!!!

And just an fyi I am Italian and been to almost every Italian restaurant in Vaughan, Mississauga and Toronto. And this by far is the worse experience ever for food. Service was great. Food...

Let me start off by saying food was 5 stars, but atmosphere was 2.

First off, I have to say the food was fantastic! I’ve been to Buca on King a few times throughout the years and have always enjoyed my meals there so I had some expectations that Buca Vaughan would be the same. My favourite dish was the Maccheroncini di Campofilone. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and there was so much flavour in the sauce, which the pasta was able to absorb and retain. I’d 100% order that dish again.

Everything else that we had was also full of flavour and very fresh, especially when it came to the branzino and polpo e vongole. The tiramisu was very rich which I’m not complaining about! It was amazing.

For me, a five star dining experience at a restaurant doesn’t just involve the food. Yes it’s a huge part of it but the overall experience also includes elements like ambiance, comfort, service, decor and cleanliness. The first 45 mins of our experience there was distracted and damped by a baby that was pretty vocal it needed something. Of course this isn’t something the restaurant can control, but it definitely dampened my experience from the get-go, especially at an upscale restaurant. The other thing I was a bit baffled about was fruit flies. Every few minutes I was swatting these little flies away from our dishes. I understand given the weather these days flies are inevitable but there were 1 too many and just another thing to dampen the experience. How washrooms are maintained say a lot about a restaurant as well, and I was quite shocked to see that the buttons to flush the toilet on the wall were missing. This was definitely a first for me.

Our tables were cleaned between courses and plates were changed which was great but I had to ask for more water a couple of times, as my glass sat empty on the table. I also had to ask twice for the dessert menu.

The last thing which I wish I knew ahead of time was that valet parking was a complimentary service for patrons at the restaurant. Had I known I wouldn’t have parked in the lot, having to pay an extra $14 for a 2 hr meal.

Having paid almost $400 for our meal this evening + parking, I expect the overall experience to be great, and not just the food.

I wanted to share this feedback in person with their senior staff that evening but they were not around when we left.

I really want to give Buca Vaughan another shot, but I’m hesitant as I may encounter a...

On a Wednesday night, I had the pleasure of dining at Buca. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the breathtaking interior design and the ambiance that set the stage for a remarkable evening. The service team's attention to detail surpassed expectations, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an outstanding fine dining establishment.

Appetizers: To begin our culinary journey, we indulged in an array of delectable appetizers. The fried olives, Salumi Board, Formaggi Board, Gnocco Fritto, and Carne Salada Di Bisonte all left a lasting impression with their impeccable flavors and presentation. Each dish showcased the chef's expertise, earning a perfect 10/10 rating.

Main Course: Continuing our gastronomic adventure, we ventured into the main course with high expectations. The Agnolotti Del Plin, filled with delicate flavors and expertly cooked pasta, delighted our palates. The Burrata pizza was another highlight, with an exquisite touch of additional salt that beautifully complemented the creaminess of the cheese. Both dishes demonstrated the culinary mastery of the kitchen, leaving us thoroughly impressed.

Overall Impression: Buca in Vaughan has the potential to dominate the fine dining scene in the area. Although it may currently be hidden, it won't remain an unknown gem for long. The combination of the awe-inspiring ambiance, impeccable service, and outstanding cuisine makes this restaurant a force to be reckoned with. The attention to detail and commitment to excellence showcased throughout our visit left an indelible mark on our experience.

Conclusion: In conclusion, my visit to Buca in Vaughan was an extraordinary journey through the world of fine dining. The stunning interior design and ambiance set the stage for an unforgettable evening. It is evident that Buca has all the qualities to become a prominent figure in the fine dining scene of Vaughan. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. Buca has truly earned its well-deserved...
