CHECK YOUR TRANSACTIONS!!!! I went through the drive through and at the window I tapped my card to pay for my order, I swear I heard the approved sound from the atm. As I was pulling out the employee says the transaction did not get approved and she handed me the atm again, this time I saw it was approved and drove out. Something didn’t feel right so I checked my bank account to find they not only charged me TWICE but have also charged the wrong amount the first time (more than what my order was). I immediately went inside to get it sorted and I handed them my card so they can refund the wrong amount, I was keeping an eye on my bank account to make sure the refund went through. THE MANAGER CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN AMD WAS ABOUT TO TELL ME HE REFUNDED IT!!!! I called him a theft and am writing to corporate about whatever scam he’s trying to pull. We went to this Wendy’s to grab a snack and tried to order our free frosty with our order- the worker said we had to order a full combo or salad to get the free frosty- this is not the case in 2025 (the frosty is supposed to be free with any purchase when using the frosty tag) but ok I am not going to argue although not one other Wendy’s restaurant has given us such a hard time about using the frosty tag. Then when I went to pay the female worker told me I couldn’t scan my Wendy’s reward points because the fries are on sale. I have added the .99$ fries to my order multiple times since the promo started and this was the first time someone refused to scan my rewards for the transaction. Read moreI work in the offices across the street. Today was the third time I've walked in and found that they're only serving at the drive through. This is not a COVID issue as they share the location with a Tim Horton's which is open for dine in and they (Wendy's) have been open for dine in on other occasions. They say it's because they're short-staffed. I guess it's a terrible place to work and/or pays too poorly to hire and retain staff...or maybe management is too cheap to schedule enough staff and then they get caught out when one person calls in sick.
