COBS Bread — Restaurant in Vernon

I just went to Cob's to purchase a 6 pack of hot cross buns. Acting on a flyer that offered a free loaf of bread when one purchases a 6 pack.

To my surprise and disgust, i was told that the coupon had expired yet,in bold one inch numbers displayed today's date of April 2nd. It was pointed out that the coupon expired on Mar 27th albeit in letters that were only 1/16 of an inch in height.

Their scam using 2 dates yet disguising their discrepancies by using vastly different font sizes. I find this extremely deceptive and a classic case of " bait and switch".

Don't fall for the coupons. I had a coupon for a free loaf of bread if 6 scones were purchased. I went for it and soon realized the 6pack of scones was $21 so I understand the free loaf of bread except that it should have been 3 free loafs. A few weeks ago I went in to cobs, bummed out and needed a cheer me up treat. The girl who greeted me was so sweet, She was so patient with all my questions about the products and made me smile and laugh the whole time. She turned my mood right around and even sent me on my way with a free treat to "brighten the rest of my day" as she said. I have failed to remember her name. She had a training nametag on (not sure how many girls cobs is currently training) but she was such a wonderful and refreshing boost to my day.
