TacoTime — Restaurant in Vernon

This place has the weirdest drive thru ever, and the wait in it for your food even if there's only one ahead of you is really, really long. Quite pricey for fast food tacos for starters, and then to add insult to injury we got to Armstrong and went to dive into our food only to find 2 out of 3 dishes were incorrect and missing the main component entirely. (ordered 2 chicken taco bowls with the hardshell bowl, and didn't get a hardshell bowl in either of them at all, or anything that could even remotely be taken as a bowl or hardshell for a taco) we literally got a few small chunks of chicken, guac, Pico de Gallo, a tiny scoop of rice, same of beans, a massive scoop of sour cream (it was like a sour cream salad there was so much of it!), Lettuce and I think cheese in a paper box to mix together and eat. There were no utensils provided, no napkins, we had to ask 3x for some hot sauce as the cashier didn't even ask if we wanted any sauces or anything, and I'm not sure if it's the area, their speaker or what's going on but even with our little wrx off, the girl couldn't hear us and got our order incorrect numerous times.

All in all, it was very disappointing, expensive, and because our food was missing its main component of the meal entirely, 2 of the 3 of us were still hungry, and the only reason my husband wasn't hungry after his meal is because he made his a large all around combo, with a large burrito, large tater tots and the biggest root beer I've ever seen in my life, and it was over twenty bucks for his meal alone! As we were in Armstrong already, we didn't bother going back, calling and complaining or emailing the company, it just won't happen again because we felt taken advantage of, and ripped off entirely. Hopeful that this isn't a constant occurrence for those more tolerant...

I decided to try taco time for the first time and ordered it through Uber Eats. I ordered fried burrito buy one get one free was a special, Typically, this comes with diced tomatoes and sour cream and lettuce on it. All it was was the beef and cheese wrapped in a very thin burrito. I ordered it because it said It was big. Long and thin but not BIG. The taco salad was delicious, I ordered my fries and this is what really bothers me. I requested an add-on for Mexican style.. And what I received too small ice cream tubs, full of tater tots with nothing on them at all. Just plain tater tots, you pull out a McAin frozen bag tater tot bag from walmart. When I called them and asked them why they stated it was Mexican. They told me this is Mexican, This is how they come this is considered Mexican fries. If I wanted Mexican fries, I should’ve specified that I wanted the bigger size. So I paid an extra $2.50 for a bowl of tater tots which were already included in my meal so nothing was done and I was really disappointed. When I called, they chose to do nothing about it and just apologized to me and they kept telling me that this is Mexican fries. This is Mexican fries and I kept telling them that this is nothing like Mexican fries. It is frozen McCain tater tots. I got absolutely nowhere and I probably will not order from them again. Taco time is one of my favourite places to eat at, its so good i used to travel to kelowna in the cars of friends or family for a day trip just to get it! I would 100% give it 5 stars... IF I COULD GET MY HANDS ON IT! Its infuriating that such a well loved chain restricts itself to only drive thru, i wouldnt complain if it was available on skip or any other food delivery service, but COME ON such great food ONLY AVAILABLE IF YOU DRIVE THRU!! They would make wayyyyy more money if they only opened up to the world of food delivery. Im honestly...
