A Perfect Start to the Day at Ratio Coffee & Pastry!

Ratio Coffee & Pastry in Vernon truly hits all the right notes for a delightful breakfast or a quick, satisfying treat. My recent visit left me thoroughly impressed with their fantastic offerings and the genuinely kind and friendly staff. In fact, I loved it so much, I made sure to visit twice during my trip to Vernon from Vancouver!

I opted for a spread that showcased their diverse menu, and I wasn't disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was a standout – perfectly constructed with fresh ingredients, it was both hearty and incredibly flavorful. It's clear they put care into crafting a morning staple that truly delivers. And to kickstart my day, their Americano was simply delicious – rich, smooth, and expertly prepared. Next, I dove into the pretzel, which was everything a good pretzel should be: wonderfully chewy on the inside with a perfectly browned exterior. It was a delicious and unexpected find on a coffee shop menu.

For something sweet, the donut was an absolute winner. Light, fluffy, and with just the right amount of sweetness, it was the ideal complement to my coffee. And speaking of refreshing, their cold-pressed juice was vibrant and invigorating – a perfect way to balance out the richness of the pastries. I even waited for a fresh Nanaimo bar flavored eclair, and it was absolutely fantastic – a truly delightful and uniquely Canadian treat!

Beyond the delicious food and drink, what truly elevated my experience was the service. The staff at Ratio Coffee & Pastry are genuinely kind and incredibly friendly. Mickie, in particular, was a star employee who went above and beyond, even selecting some coffee beans for me to take home and enjoy – what a fantastic touch! They create a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger and enjoy your surroundings. It's also really cool to know that the venue itself is the old site for a rail station, adding a unique touch of history to your visit.

Whether you're a local or just passing through Vernon, Ratio Coffee & Pastry is an absolute must-visit. I'll definitely be back on my next...

I absolutely adore a phenomenal cup of coffee, so naturally, I couldn't resist the temptation to try out this highly recommended spot while I was in Vernon. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! On my first day, I indulged in an oat latte, and let me just say, the coffee to oat milk ratio was absolutely spot on! It was a match made in caffeinated heaven. But that's not all, my friends. Just before bidding adieu to this charming town, I decided to treat myself to their legendary Donut Friday. And boy, oh boy, was it a delectable experience! I also couldn't resist sampling their classic Benny on rustic sourdough, accompanied by a cup of dirty chai. Let me tell you, every single bite and sip was pure perfection. The bacon was flawlessly thick, crunchy, and bursting with flavor. The hollandaise sauce was so yummy, it was like a party in my mouth. And let's not forget about the side of pickled onions that took the flavor to a whole new level. It was a taste sensation! Now, let's talk about that dirty chai, shall we? It was hands down one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of sipping. The combination of spices and the kick of caffeine was simply divine. And to top it all off, the service was lightning-fast and incredibly friendly. They truly know how to make you feel like a valued customer. So, my fellow coffee enthusiasts, if you find yourself in Vernon, do yourself a favor and make a beeline for this coffee haven. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. PS. I haven’t tried the donuts yet as they are going home to...

We were visiting Kelowna and took a nice drive to Vernon to try this place that was actually recommended to us by one of our friends back on Vancouver Island. We ordered one of their seasonal FALL DRINK MENU and tried the “Maple Bourbon Latte” and it was an impressive match to the crisp air and we pairs it with the Ratio smores cookie. The cookie was smashed and seemed like there's more to share but it didn't last long so I advise getting 2 and not sharing .After our drinks We found some great merch on the shelves and I grabbed a uniquely RATIO branded “Fellow “ 12oz travel mug & sweatshirt for a souvenir from the Okanagan.

We could see the baked goods depleting as the line up passed and the bakery pumping out goods almost as efficient as the barista was pouring.

The staff here is constantly in motion as too are the clients.

As a tourist to the region this place was welcoming and the quality is high up as a non-corporate locally owned community hub could ever be… local support can be felt at every corner of the space…

This place is located at a historic train station building and when you're here you can feel the hustle and bustle of people going places...

We were so glad to SPAN time here as we arrived at our destination as soon as we stepped into RATIO.

I look forward to future visits here whenever we are back in...
