Little Thai Place — Restaurant in Victoria

Solid honest 4 stars. Never any problems. Decent food. Quite good actually. The lunch menu is tasty. Ive been eating here regularly for over 10 years. Very consistent.

One strong suggestion though: decline the complimentary "salad." In general - it lets the rest of the meal down, and its a total waste of a plastic container in take out. I hope they re-evaluate the salad one day, because a nice salad can make a meal! As it is currently, the free salad that comes with meals isn't any good - in fact its bad. Wilted warm lettuce with a few scraps of carrot and soaked in vinegar. Thats it. I hate to mention it because the rest of the food is GOOD, but that salad over shrouds the meal with disappointment that it really isn't taken seriously.

This location always has friendly service and they are quick. The prices are good and its a favourite lunch stop. Its great for a quick bite. Dont let my above criticism put you off. This place is very highly favoured for weekday lunches. The food is good - not life changing - but good.

first time for me and my daughter. The review is very mixed as my daughter's dish was great and if I had ordered that same dish would be giving it at least a 4+. I had the duck in a curry sauce and the duck was very tough and over cooked. I didn't say anything until I had a mouth full of duck and bone. They left the long skinny sharp bone that comes off the leg in the piece of duck. Luckily I didn't get to far with it. Huge choking potential. Then I found chucks of cartilage in the bottom of the dish. I pointed this out to the waitress and she took it straight to the cook. Came back and explained the cook said it was common to have bones in this type of dish. So based on over cooked duck and its common at this place to leave the bones and cartilage in the meat I couldn't give it a...

I don’t normally write poor reviews even for places that are subpar but unfortunately I have to be brutally honest with this place. Given the circumstances I had to take pick up. The food was hot upon arrival however when I got home I was clearly disappointed when I unpackaged the food the pad Thai noodles were grossly over cooked the food lacked any flavour there was absolutely no resemblance of any kind of spice at all. I was disappointed because during this time we rely on small businesses and this small business failed to meet my standards. Spice was lacking, flavour was lacking and I will not be back.
