98 Super Panda Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Wasaga Beach

We were in wasaga beach and wanted chinese food. I searched the local places, and both uncle mings and the bamboo terrace had higher google reviews so we tried there first. Both ended up being closed to dine in, a big disappointment, so we finally went to super panda. We should have tried there first! It was the best chinese i've had in a long time.

The staff were very friendly, and when there was a mix up in the order they happily fixed it without arguing.

The food was fantastic. The sweet and sour chicken was light and not greasy. The spring rolls were well seasoned and flavorful. The lo mein was tendre and tasty. The chicken fried rice was not dried out like it often is. Everything we ate tasted great! The portions were huge too - we each brought home at least half the meal, so great leftovers for tomorrow.

The prices were super reasonable. For the two of us it was only $33. The dinning room was clean and nicely decorated.

It was a great evening out, and even though i'm generally a big complainer, I could find nothing to complain about.

So if you're looking for chinese food in wasaga beach, don't waste your time on the other ones, just go straight to...

I understand there is a pandemic! I also understand that it’s been requested of us, order take out or curb side when we choose. So...with these measures in place, this is when you hire maybe an extra delivery driver (if possible) . I placed an order at 4:30pm. Young gentleman on the phone was great! Even made me aware, it will be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. Totally understood. I called 2 hours later after giving them the benefit of the doubt. ‘Only one driver! I was told. Food will be there shortly. On New Year’s Day!!!! Really? It is 7:15 and still no food..... I called at 7:30pm and was told it’s not on it’s way yet because of one driver. I unfortunately and regretfully, with a family of (hungry) five, cancelled my order.

I feel bad for not only the driver that might be subjected to verbal customer abuse, but for the poor young gentleman who has to answer the phone. Whomever the manager is, your front line staff suffer! Eventually it will effect you.

Let us down 98 Panda. Plan ahead when your aware in advance of a lockdown! Your a fantastic place that as months go down one by one, so will your reputation.

Think smarter, not...

Ordered 3 days in advance to avoid delays with our New Year’s Eve order. Pick up was scheduled for 7:00. My husband was there by 6:45 with a line up before him. When he was finally seen at 7:15, they had to find my order and hadn’t even started it claiming everyone was ahead of him. People screaming, a fight even started in the parking lot due to tensions being so high, young staff left to handle the screaming customers while manager was in the back and would not come out when we demanded to speak to him. Worst service we ever experienced, food was cold when we finally got it at 8:45!!! Why order 3 days ahead of time with a specific pick up time if you can’t manage your orders. Won’t get our business again! Run from this place, don’t walk!!!! Would give it a negative rating...
