Roundabout Jerk and Patties — Restaurant in Wasaga Beach

I wanted to try a new place tonight for dinner and based on the good reviews I settled on Roundabout Jerk and Patties. I ordered a large jerk chicken and a beef patty. Starting with the beef patty definitely the highlight of the meal. It was excellent. One of the best patties I've had. Full of filling, excellent pastry. Will definitely be coming back for more. The jerk chicken was decent but it wasn't amazing. For the large order it was a very generous serving along with rice and coleslaw. I don't know if it's because it was towards the end of the day, but the chicken I thought was a little bit dry and bland. The rice was very good. The coleslaw I would pass on. The food here is always amazing!! Cooked with such love and passion! I’ve had everything from the fried chicken, to the curry goat, to the oxtail, to the patty and everything always hits the spot! Patty is moist and flaky, oxtail is rich and flavourful, goat is cooked with just the right amount of curry and other spices/seasonings and the fried chicken is better than any chain. And the food isn’t the only reason to go. The service is always the best. The owner is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet! Friendly and caring! It’s hard to find good restaurants these days but Roundabout is definitely a fantastic spot! If you’re wondering if to check it out, just do it! You’ll definitely keep going back. I was raised at Jane & Finch like I was telling you and my friend Scarborough and first off as I explained that I appreciated right away is the cleanliness 👍. I would have walked out otherwise and your welcoming hospitality and all around your customer service is definitely a 5 star and genuine I can tell as I have worked in management and customer service most of my life. We both bought the Ox tail with rice n peas and it was absolutely delicious. A good amount as well with a nice green salad plus the patty.
