Wendy's — Restaurant in Wasaga Beach

I don't mind this Wendy's. I know ppl complain about there being no sit in, but it is the beach, you don't come to the beach to sit inside. The location is Key. I have to admit some form of criticism as at first the servance was horrible when they first opened. They have seem to have worked out their kinks, that goes for opening any new business. I honestly just love the menui for its vanilla coke and apple peacan salad, Please never get ride of those two things, The very pretty smiley women who severed me was very lovely. Give her a raise! If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be righting this review. She was very kind about refilling my Vanilla Coke, it is such a big treat to me so I always exercise my free refill. My folks own the Wine Making Business called Cheers, in the Strip mall just a couple driveways down, I grabbed my mom a coffee with the cinnamon deal, she loved it. And is a huge coffee connoisseur as she will drink it just black. And said the coffee is better then Tim's. And just as good as McDonald's which she prefers over Tim's anyday. Promote that coffee even more if it is that good! Can't see how that wouldn't...

Placed a pickup order through Uber and upon getting there to pick up... due to some new rule they want to make my husband wait outside for our order/food where Uber and Doordash drivers go to wait. It's been off and on raining all day... Told to back out of the drive through ( there was vehicles already behind me ) and that my order would only be five minutes... Wow I was waiting behind two vehicles in the drive through for 10 minutes and once I got to the window... Apparently it would take another 5 minutes... If your physically disabled don't order through Uber here for pickup as you'll struggle to get to the window in the rain... To wait for food you were told was only gonna be five more minutes yet you got my order 15 minutes prior to my arrival... This will be sent to corporate as this is not fair to people who use the drive through pickup and luckily my husband was there to get my food otherwise they would've been forcing a physically limited person to do all of this and was lazy enough to make my partner go to the window instead of at least offering to run it to our vehicle this is ridiculous...

This Wendy’s at Wasaga Beach is a disappointment in terms of customer experience. First off, there’s no internal seating — which is surprising and inconvenient, especially given its location in a popular beach area where families and groups are likely looking for a quick, comfortable meal indoors. What were they thinking?

While the food is standard Wendy’s quality, the lack of seating means you either have to eat in your car, take it to go, or hope for decent weather to eat outside, which isn’t always ideal. It’s baffling that a major chain in such a high-traffic area would overlook such a basic need.

I’d recommend other fast-food spots nearby if you’re looking for a more comfortable dining experience, but if you’re just grabbing a quick bite on the go, this Wendy’s will...
