Davenport Pizza — Restaurant in Waterloo

I called and made an order for delivery when I asked how long it was going to take for delivery the guy told me 15minutes which is fine. About 40 minutes passed and I called to see if it was on it’s way, the guy told me that he left and I should have it any second now. We waited an additional 10 minutes and we decided to call again. This time we were met by a very rude lady who just gave us the run around with no legitimate knowledge when the pizza was actually going to arrive. The lady told us that they were busy and it was about an hour for deliveries right now and that if the delivery exceeds an hour then to call back. Which btw I did because it did exceed an hour and when I called she changed her story and said “I told you to call back when it was much past an hour, we called the driver and told him to just drive to your house next” and was incredibly rude about it. The delivery driver did deliver the pizza right after that phone call.

Look if you guys are going to be that busy and it’s going to be a while for delivery that’s fine if I was told prior about the wait I would have gone to pick up the pizza myself and everything would be great. But however I was first told 15 minutes, then “any second” after the 40 minute mark. The pizza was HOT and good but you guys really should have been more honest about the delivery time rather than given us the run around because we would have just picked it up if we would have known.. oh and FYI the guy we spoke to was nice but the lady I spoke to after was incredibly rude and needs to learn how to talk to customers, because her attitude was...

I came in a little after 8:30pm, after multiple attempts to call and order a pizza. I assumed the staff must have been busy so I decided to walk over. Since I saw online they were open until 10pm, I was shocked to find the place empty. After looking around to find someone, I saw the only staff member squatting on the floor, playing on her phone, hiding and completely ignoring me. After I rang the bell I requested my order of one pizza. She promptly cut me off and said the ovens were off and I could only buy slices. When I asked why the phone wasn't picked up multiple times ten minutes prior, she claimed she was too busy by herself (again, because there were so many non existent people?). Your business clearly says you are open until 10pm on Wednesday evenings. We keep trying to give you guys chances, but this was straight up insulting. Don't lie and have google say your open until 10pm while your ovens turn off before 8:45pm with a staff member is too busy checking their Instagram.

Thank god there are other pizza joints...

First impression walking in the door, woman making the pizza had no hair net or gloves while tossing dough. She stopped and handled the register keys and debit machine for a guy while I waited for mine, went right back to making pizza without washing hands. I was grossed out. I still brought my phoned in order home. It was a nice looking pizza. Thick. Lots of toppings. BUT. 2 of my kids were up in the middle of the night with cramps and on the toilet with loose stool. I should have known better. I will never go to this place again. No respect for their customers. Dirty dirty. if you get a stomach ache after eating here, youll know why. I challenge everyone who witnesses this lack of glove and no hand washing habit to post it here and shame these guys into showing some respect for the...
