I am not sure if it is a covid issue, or maybe Timmies corporate trainers are all brand new, but as a chef who has been lucky enough to have worked in a number of different types of restaurants, I am baffled at the sheer incompetence of a vast majority of the staff in this franchise. No matter where I go, I always see the same thing at this franchise; over staffed and nobody is working. I have literally waited for over 5 minutes to be served while watching the better part of a dozen employees just standing around doing nothing. If any of these people worked on one of my restaurants, they would be shown the door in their first hour. Besides that, it was a extremely obvious that the employees are told to focus on the drive thru and not the front of house like they should be also watching. With 8 or so cooks in each of these places, there is no reasonable excuse for this to he happening. It is obviously a corporate decision, because it is almost every single location, other than a few exceptions where the manager is very likely ignoring the head office. It's sad to see that there s is happening to a once fairly exceptionally handled place. I realise that these places are swamped pretty much every day like clock work, but it would be very easy to make some minor changes that would likely improve the service on both sides of the business, instead of how things are handled now.

Read moreWhen to this location this morning to get a begal breakfast sandwich. Asked if I could get it with no sauce and a few Ketchup packets , then paid for my order and that second I realized I forgot to scan my points.. I asked him to redo the order so I can get my points and he looked around all confused for a second and then said no and immediately asked for the next customer…. Rude as I wasn’t finished. Got my sandwich and took it to the park to eat. I opened the sandwich when I got there and the ketchup was not in the bag and the sandwich was missing the yoke and had butter on it, there was also a long 12-14” hair coiled up on my sandwich. In hindsight I think it was done on purpose as I got a weird smirk look from the guy who passed me the sandwich. And weird how the hair was coiled up directly on the outer top of the begal! Disgusting Tim Hortons! You should be ashamed of yourself for how your level of quality and cleanliness has went down considerably. No wonder more people are going to Starbucks! Oh and my coffee tastes burnt as well and I’m disgusted I even took a sip before I seen the sandwich.. if I had I wouldn’t have even has a sip. I tossed the whole meal! Thanks for ripping me off today once again little Timmy! My fault for going back! Fool me twice eh Gus’s that makes me the fool! I ad the pics but I can’t...
