We talked to them today about one of those non-dairy ice creams we've been getting from them. At least a few boxes from the last few months turned out bad, despite not being expired. They mentioned very laxly that they've probably gone bad during shipment and the brand will send them new batches. But the thing is, we've been buying the exact same brand, the exact same products (yes, multiple) from a local supermarket all this time and after thr first couple times, I actually checked the batch numbers of the products and they turned out to be the same. So, how is the one that a supermarket across Fiddleheads carries is fine but the ones they carry are gone bad during shipment? Also, they mentioned other customers also complaining about it. So they've known the matter for some time and they also had the time to talk to the brand to solve the issue... yet the very same products still sit on their freezer; they didn't even bother to take the bad product out. Sorry, but I'm not buying the "gone bad during shipment".

And again, very regardlessly, they said they could make a refund if we came with the receipt. Fair enough, but I'm not keeping ice cream receipts in case the ice cream I bought a couple days back within the best-before-date limits may be bad.

Also, I found at least a couple times -at different locations- long expired dairy product in their fridge and warned them, only to find the same product again the next day or so. We consume a lot of health products which they carry, but needless to say, I won't be shopping at Fiddleheads unless I have to...

Of all the places to go, this is the absolute best! Great selection of products! The staff are always happy and ready to answer any questions. They follow all safety protocols and this is by far the safest place to shop. I would like to add that I 100% support a company that is standing by their employee who is medically exempt from wearing a mask. Despite this cruel world she always has a smile on her face and makes my day everytime I come in. For anyone uncomfortable with her help, she offers to leave the floor, not that it should be necessary since she keeps more than her necessary distance, but she respects and cares about her customers. Knowledgeable staff, expert advise, and a vast selection of products. The smoothie bar is unique and one of a kind with it's endless flavour combinations. The staff will even tailor your smoothie to your likeness, unsweetened or different nut butters and protein powders.
