The service is very slow and the staff isn't friendly. A tall guy kind of bald just seems to get in everyone's way. I find nothing special about the shawarma,or gyro. They pile so much on the tiny grill none of the meat really gets hot. The BEST thing they have is the homemade HOT SAUSE it is totally amazing, I will keep going back just for that hot sauce. I had the gyro platter and the hummus tasted very salty the cabbage salad was very good. The rice and gyro with tzatziki sauce and the homemade hot sauce was very good but the meat and rice were not hot. They have enough staff on they just need to get more organized. Overall I will be back the bread is amazing too I got an extra one on the side its very enjoyable. The space is very small and only 2 small tables. We had no where to eat so back to the truck we went. There was 1 person in front of us and 6 behind we were the last to get our order and it was wrong they added Tomatoes and we cant eat them. They were frustrated but made our wraps again the receipt was wrote out correctly so someone just looked at the paper wrong. They are very busy every time I have been there is a great to see local business do good. Not a place I can go with a 30 minutes lunch break tho We will be back for sure I enjoy the bread...
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying both the shawarma wrap and sandwich at iShawarma, and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the sauces added just the right kick. The wrap was generously filled and nicely toasted, while the sandwich was warm, fresh, and packed with flavor. A special shoutout to Amritpal Singh, who served the food with a warm smile and excellent customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. It’s always great to be served by someone who genuinely cares about the customer experience. Highly recommended if you’re craving flavorful, satisfying Middle Eastern food with great service. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreWhat pisses me off about this place is that they're not in Toronto.
one time i went years ago, i noticed that one wall was destroyed as a car had apparently driven through their wall.
they say it was an accident, but i already know the driver just really wanted his fix.
Their shawarma uses a really wonderful chewy bread that holds in the sauce, and their house hot sauce is delightful.
For my guilty pleasure that i still dream of, try their gyro poutine with hot sauce and garlic sauce. Everything you worked so hard to lose will come right back.
I truly believe that even in Toronto, this place would more than hold its own, perhaps even eclipse the places here - but i welcome any suggestions to overturn...
