barBURRITO — Restaurant in Welland

Was excited to finally have a barBURRITO close by so I had to come down and try it out. I will admit that I'm a little disappointed with what I got. I ordered the spicy chicken burrito bowl with extra chicken.

All the ingredients were fresh... except for the chicken. The chicken was very very dry, almost jerky like in consistency. I'm not sure how long it was sitting in the warming tray before it was served to me, but I suspect a long time. I've tried the spicy chicken at the St Catherine's location and it was much better, juicy and saucy chicken.

Since this location is new, I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope that the quality improves the next time I visit.

Besides the quality of the food, the service was very friendly.

Update from 3⭐ to 4⭐: Brought the food back to the store; they apologized and made another bowl for me. Chicken is still a little dry but nowhere near as bad as the first bowl I got. Apparently there were some recipe changes so maybe that explains...

Absolutely Delicious!

Barburrito exceeded my expectations! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. I went with the classic burrito with grilled chicken, and every bite was packed with well-seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of spice. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to customizing my order. The place was clean, with a relaxed, casual vibe—perfect for a quick lunch or a chill dinner.

My only complaint is maybe dont put cold drinks in the same bag as the hot food. My burrito was right next to my pop. Cold drink leaning against warm food=Cold food. Lowering my rating because after ordering a couple more times from here still the same problem getting cold food cause they can't separate the drink and keep packing the food right on the cold drink.
