Absolutely terrible customer service, the worst I can recall in my life, and basically I'm wondering if my wife and I were discriminated against.We were thirsty after walking Ambleside and because there was sandwich board outside, door propped open AND customers inside we went in to try a juice, only to be told that the "lights were off" and we couldn't be served (because apparently they were closed). There were at least 4 other people inside and a lady literally right in front of me in line and she was told, you were in here before so "you're ok." What kind of business operates like this? A: a business that doesn't value its customers. I will never go back here and have nothing positive to say about this place. I would rather dehydrate than give a place like this my business.
Response to Owner: It is not customary for me to write negative reviews, and anyone checking my review history will see that. This was indeed terrible customer service and the very fact that your response offers no apology or thanks for feedback/policy changes speaks volumes and only further validates your unprofessional business etiquette. The lights were off? Please. What does this mean during summer when it is bright outside and bright sunlight is flooding into an establishment, the door is OPEN, sandwich board outside, customers in line AND many customers still seated? From a customer's perspective, if a customer enters (because the door is OPEN) and there are still customers in line, would you assume a place is closed or open for business? By your own admission, a customer came at 6pm and then we entered a few minutes after (not knowing the 6pm closing time in passing by and seeing the door open etc.) with that customer not even being served yet and you took their order and refused to serve the couple right behind that person? I'm not sure what conclusion you would draw? Sure seems like someone was treated unfairly or differently. Evidently, it was easier to deny service to a customer already having entered your establishment than take another 5 minutes to serve us and ensure a positive customer experience (and potential repeat customer and positive word of mouth spreading for your business). My partner and I have been loyal customers of Organic Love Nutrition Bar and have always enjoyed the smoothies here. However, today we had a very disappointing experience with the owner.
Typically, when we choose a plastic bottle over a glass one, we receive $2 back. But today, the owner kept our $4 (for two bottles), claiming that the refund only applies if we bring back the glass bottles later. Thatâs misleading, as we effectively âreturnedâ the glass bottles by not taking them in the first place.
When we questioned this, the owner was condescending and prideful, saying, âIâm the owner, I know better,â and made us feel like we were wrong for pointing out whatâs always been the standard policy. It wasnât about the $4âit was about the dishonesty and the way we were treated.

My parents also come here and also pleased with not only their service but the quality of their juice. Their juice is far superior to any other juice bar I have visited. The juice is fresh, never stale or sitting there for days. I was really sick back in 2015 and they helped me so much by making up all kinds of special juices that I needed to heal. I am so happy to be back to being fully healthy and I continue to eat well and juice. However, there are times or days that I don't have time to do it myself and I know I can count on them to make up what I need.
