Chopped Leaf — Restaurant in Whitby

The food tastes good and it is fresh. My complaint is the portion size and the way it's portioned. You pay almost $25 for a small soup that's just over half full, it's literally 3 sips and a mederterian salad that is mostly all lettuce in a small container. Barley any vegies like tomatoes and cucumbers. You can see in the photo there's no veggies. I've been a few times and it is always like this at least for take out, which is all I've ever gotten. At least fill the soup to the top and try and make the salads not 98 % lettuce, because for $25 for lettuce is pretty pricey. It would definitely be a more go to place if this was addressed. In my opinion that way it stands right now Freshi is a way better value. For $25 your getting a good size meal...

I have been to this location twice and both times were awful. First time we waited more than 30 minutes for 1 salad and 1 quesadilla. They were very apologetic and gave us a coupon so I didn’t leave a negative review because they had redeemed themselves. Today we went in again and the store was filthy, dirty tables, food on the floor. The wait wasn’t as long today but we had specifically asked for no tomato on the salad and it was as though they decided to add double the tomato to it. Nothing chopped about it. For a $25 salad, the ingredients didn't even stand an inch tall in the bowl (I have pictures). The chicken is processed and very hard and chewy. There is zero care for the ingredients... nothing is chopped... huge chunks of onion and romaine (and I love onions). There was less than a quarter cup of any single ingredient in the bowl. I paid extra for tomatoes and there were literally 2... The "goddess" dressing has no flavour, it's straight oil. There are far better salad places out there. I would never order from this...
