I had an extremely frustrating experience at this Harvey’s location this evening. I arrived at the drive-thru on time for my scheduled pickup, only to be left waiting past the designated time. While I understand that restaurants can get busy, if staff are unable to keep up with scheduled orders, they should consider limiting them instead of compromising the quality of service and food.
What made the situation worse was how we were treated during the wait. The staff at the window ignored us for an extended period, offering no communication or updates, which left us confused and concerned.
When I finally received my order, the onion rings were completely burned. The bottom of the container had blackened pieces that looked like they’d been left in the fryer far too long. I attempted to take a photo of the contents, but the staff refused to return the container. I managed to snap a photo through the window instead.
When I requested a remake of the onion rings, the staff member at the window bluntly told me, “the onion rings will look the exact same because that’s how we make them.” We asked to speak with the manager, Kowsi, who reiterated that they "come like that from the manufacturer" and that all the onion rings would look the same. Instead of resolving the issue properly, she gave us fries, which appeared to be carelessly dumped into the bag and looked tampered with.
Admittedly, I was frustrated due to the situation, but at no point was I disrespectful or had unwarranted comments. The same cannot be said for the manager or the drive-thru employee, who both displayed a dismissive and unprofessional attitude. No proper apology or resolution was offered.
After getting home, I opened the onion rings again and was appalled to find the onion inside was completely brown, clearly not fresh and potentially unsafe to eat. This was not just disappointing, but a serious concern from a food safety perspective.

We started getting suspicious and worried there would be something wrong with our meal. We sat down and our onion rings were soaked in oil. The bottom of the onion rings boxes there was at least a tablespoon of oil just sitting there like a pond. I took them to the counter and asked for fresh that wasn't so oilly and I was ignored by three different staff until I shouted as one waked past me. I explained the situation calmly to the staff member. He then turned around and re ordered our onion rings and frings stating that it was "apperently" coated in oil. I said not apperently, look at it, there's a pond of oil in the bottom of the boxes, they're leaking oil everywhere. We then waited approximately 5 mins for a new order. I watched them set our order under the lights and not bother to inform us. I eventually went up to the counter and asked for our order and the same gentlemen I explained to what was wrong with our order walked past me three times before he finally acknowledged me and then had no clue what I was standing there for.

Today, the young lady was taking orders and one fella was dressing the food for the customers. 2 people preparing food in the back and one person working the drive thru. I have no idea what happened but everything just slowed to a crawl as a mobile order was wrong, so they had to fix that, then another customer’s salad was wrong, then the girl stated making mobile orders as a line up of 7 people quickly ballooned. Then an elder lady with a walker needed assistance 2x (which is completely understandable) then another person’s order was just sitting there and they overlooked his food. By this time, 4 people walked out because they had no orders taken. I got my food dressed up and then fries for my order weren’t ready, no big deal as orders of fries were flying out. By the time I got my fries, sat down, my burger was now no longer even hot.
