Healthy Planet - Whitby — Restaurant in Whitby

I made my first visit yesterday. I was looking for a product that I had already priced online. The entrance is really confusing but when I got past that, I found my aisle easily. I then had to wait and listen to the store associate beside me talk to a couple of her friends for a long while about an upcoming bodybuilding show. When they left, she turned and walked away without offering help! I then had to look for someone else to help and found a gentleman a few aisles over. When I asked him whether they had any volume discounts or combo promotions for the product I wanted, he told me they didn't because they already had the cheapest price for that product. I had done my research before going in, so I showed him 2 Canadian websites where it was cheaper. I was hoping they would have price matched. Many companies do and the price difference was not huge. He surprised me by becoming defensive. He told me that it wasn't a fair comparison because the web companies were US companies. By this time, I had been in the store for about 20 minutes , I was not longer enjoying my experience and I really didn't want to make him more upset by correcting him. I thanked him and left....and immediately placed my $300 order online. My order was shipped, from Mississauga, within 2 hours of placing it. The shame is, this store has only been open a short while, it is close to me and seemed to have a good selection of products at reasonable prices. As much as I had hoped to give them my business, poor customer service makes it difficult to support this...

I have been a frequent customer of this location for slightly over a year now and each visit is exactly the same. Shelves are stocked clean and organized and there is always someone able to assist me. What keeps me coming back however are the employees within the supplement and sport nutrition section who are always kind and attentive and well rounded with their knowledge. As a Vegan who deep down believes in the natural self healing route; Whenever I get sick I always end up in this store. Thursday was no different for me.

I waited for Jessica to finish helping a mother and daughter before me who expressed deep gratitude for her patience and knowledge before swooping in to ask her some questions of my own. I told her my needs and concerns and she assisted me with purchasing Lypo-spheric Vitamin C, Advanced B complex, immune 7 and an oil of oregano all of which met my vegan requirements. After picking everything up Jessica cashed me out herself and also wrote down the order of which i should consume my supplements also including ones i already owned and customizing it based off my schedule. Jessica was kind and truly down to earth. she even recommended water consumption meditation and proper sleep which is a recommendation ill surely take.

Called them 10 minutes before coming to the store asking if they have green tea extract oil and they said yes. They even said they have the OIL. The lady on the phone even said they have a small and a big bottle. Gave me the prices and everything. I get there and I ask the cashier and she just tell me to go to this area with a bunch of oils. I go there. Looking and looking and nothing. Then a lady comes and asks if I need help. I tell her I called and she says they have the capsules. Then she asks another worker there and then another worker. So I got half the store looking for something they said they had 10 mins ago just to tell me they only have the capsules 😂😂😂. Told them you guys said you have it on the phone. Didn’t even get a sorry. Why tell someone you have something just for them to waste gas and time to come and to be disappointed? Lmao. I don’t even write reviews but I had to for this. This is supposed to be healthy planet but my blood pressure is up now and this was a “unhealthy” experience. Wouldn’t go back here if they had a...
