An incredible Vietnamese dining experience—highly recommended!
I had the Bún Bò Huế and Gỏi Cuốn Bò Nướng (grilled beef fresh spring rolls), and both dishes blew me away.
The Bún Bò Huế was absolutely spot on. The broth was rich, flavorful, and beautifully spiced with lemongrass and chili—bold yet perfectly balanced. It came with tender beef slices, Vietnamese sausage, pork hock, and even pork blood cubes for that extra authentic touch. The noodles were just the right texture, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and lime on the side allowed me to personalize each bite. It was comforting, hearty, and deeply satisfying.
The Gỏi Cuốn Bò Nướng was a refreshing surprise. Instead of shrimp, these fresh rolls were packed with grilled marinated beef—juicy, savory, and full of flavor. Wrapped in soft rice paper with fresh lettuce, herbs, and vermicelli noodles, they were light but still rich in taste. The rolls were served with a delicious peanut hoisin sauce that elevated every bite.
The restaurant was clean and modern, and the service was excellent—friendly staff, fast food delivery, and great attention to detail.
If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food that’s full of flavor and made with care, this spot is a gem. I’m definitely coming back to explore more of the menu!

Their noodle salad is honestly the best I’ve ever had. It’s so addictive I hadn’t been able to order any other entree from this place cuz I can’t resist this one. The salad is fresh and crunchy. The rice noodles are cooked to perfection.l Any myou choose is seasoned just right, full of flavor and so so so tender.
Then today, I phoned in for a takeout order of the classic noodle salad with lemongrass chicken, for which I requested for more salad and less noodles. After a dozen rounds of clarification and confirmation, I thought the order was set and I was pretty excited for my dinner. My husband picked it up for me not knowing what I ordered. And he came home with a bowl of pho with lemongrass chicken, and a huge bag of bean sprouts. Given how good the noodle salads were, I decided to give it a try and had pretty high hope of it. And I found that other reviews are pretty accurate. The broth was….bland, very much water down. It barely had enough salt imo. I’ve always finished every last drop of whatever noodle soup I have. Today turned out to be the very first time that I left almost all the broth.
It is still a good spot if you haven’t tried. The noodle salads and their fresh rolls will...
Read moreUpdate 2025: I recently revisited and found the pho has really improved. The service was fast, the soup came out piping hot, and the broth and spices was well balanced—honestly better than any I’ve had in Scarborough or Markham. I’ve been getting sick of eating pho at pho An Vu, Nam, or Linh An, but Pho Sam reminds me of the taste of pho I had since childhood. The broth is a bit oily compared to other places, but that just shows they use lots of bone marrow. The spices are stronger too, which I actually like. They also use thin rice noodles, which I prefer and feels more original. The meat quality was great as well. I’d recommend anyone to try it, especially if you agree that most pho in Markham and Scarborough isn’t that great anymore.
Old review: I will give 3.5 stars.
I ordered Bun Bo Hue, but the shrimp paste overpowered the broth. I would prefer other places I've tried in Markham.
The vegetarian spring roll was good. I will definitely order it again.
I tried the beef broth from my husband, and it's pretty flavorful. I will come back and try their beef bone noodle again.
The service was a bit slow during lunchtime as they lacked staff. My husband was in a rush to get back to work. Hopefully, they can hire more staff, as I saw the owner running around cooking...
