Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Whitby

Absolutely terrible service and food. I frequent many Osmos and this was by far the worst experience I've had. First, it took about 10 minutes to have the opportunity to order... there were two couples in front of me. I ordered chicken on salad to stay and a wrap to go. I asked for and paid for extra sauce (which I barely got any). I sat down and waited for my order... The table I sat at was dirty and the restaurant was freezing. I had to use the restroom. It was dirty. I waited 25 minutes for the order and it really wasn't overly busy... by that time, I did not have time to eat in and I was freezing anyway. I brought it home to eat. Like mentioned above, there was very little paid for sauce on the meat and the portion was much much smaller than I am used to getting. The chicken was very crumbly for lack of a better term (looked more like beef) and greasy. No flavor at all. The salad was fine, but portion was pathetic. After I finished the meal, I was still hungry. I typically have enough leftovers that it's almost another meal for my wife. My daughter didn't finish her wrap as she didn't like the taste of the chicken either. We will not go back to this location and am really turned off of shawarma at the moment because of...

I was just at this location and ordered a regular chicken wrap. When I received it I noticed it was quite small compared to the last time I was there. I opened it and sure enough there wasn't much in it. The toppings are now being choped into little pieces (almost minced), rather than slices like they used to do. So obviously the amount of topping applied is less. Brought it to the attention of the female doing cash and the cook who are usually the people behind the counter when I go there. The lady was trying to showing me that she uses a scooper (very small) to apply the toppings, slightly smaller than the scooper that's used to make the falafel. So there's not much in the way of toppings. Although at time of order I had asked for extra toppings and as indicated on the receipt. The cook, his manners when communicating with customers is non existent. No eye contact when speaking with him and barely puts two words together (and it's not a language barrier bc I have chatted with him before). Pretty disappointing, considering every time I am in the area of Winchester and Bladwin I have lunch there. I would not recommend and I doubt I will be going back...

Really Disappointed with the service today! The staff was very rude especially the young lady working there on May15th around 9pm. We ordered 2 Philly chicken plates and when we got home we realized that they hadn’t made a Philly chicken as there was no sauces except for hot sauce. When we called them and try to explain them that we got the wrong order, they actually retaliated and said “ this how Philly chicken is made”, we have been going to other Osmows locations since the last 3 years and have never had an issue. Either way, we asked them if they wanted this food back and can come to replace it. But they said they don’t want it back but will give us a replacement. We went there again to pick up and the young lady behind the counter made us feel very uncomfortable and argued with us while disregarding her managers orders again and again. We didn’t want to create a scene as there were other customers so we requested for the owner’s number to talk to him how his customers are being treated and her last comments were “please do call the owner” as if she was not scared of anything or anyone. We are never going to go back to this...
