I am so so offended by the manager working at Wendy's. She claimed her name is Wendy. What an incredibly mean and rude person. The other day, I asked for a hamburger plain because I am allergic to cheese. The order I got was with cheese. So i went back around and asked if they could remake it and it was fine they made a mistake, but I cannot eat it. When I got to the window, a young girl was there but the manager pushed her aside and started to become hostile with me. She told me i needed to prove I was allergic to cheese. I was stunned by that due to me not thinking I need to carry around a laminated cheese allergy card just for a fast food restaurant to get the order I wanted. But I asked her to please take back the burger and replace it with a plain one no cheese. She took my burger and opened it to see if I ate any! When she came back with a new one, she threw the bag into my window and told me she hoped i didn't "die". When I drove away, I went to my friends house, I opened the burger, there were TWO pieces of cheese on it. I couldn't believe it. I feel like her reaction was vendictive and extreme for the situation because I am a very quiet polite person and when i came to the window I was absolutely not rude about it. I understand mistakes are made and didn't act all offended because someone made my food wrong. I just wanted a new one. That's it. but she was acting like I was asking for too much, like me not wanting cheese was in some way a hate crime to cheese or to Wendy's. I was confused and hurt by the whole interaction. Read moreStopped at this wendys location Sept 18 2021 on our way back from Canada's wonderland arrived between 1030-1100 pm my freind placed her order for her and her daughter then I placed mine for my son and my self I ordered the baconator combo for my son and the bacon deluxe for myself my friend got their food in a few mibutes they told me they were eating on bacon to pull up to the back door and they would bring g it to us 12 minutes later my driver went to the door ww got our food and left opening my burget it was greasey took a bite and you could tell it wasn't cooked through took a piece off the bottom part of burger it was pi k as well my son's burger was the same burgers that take 12min to cook should be cooked I phoned head office was told district manager would can have not heard anything phoned wendys in Whitby explained why I was calling and the person I spoke too was the person who took my order sat eve she kept saying they couldn't do any thing and passed the phone off to another supervisor who in turn spoke to me and then phoned the general manager who said they couldn't do anything I will never return to this location again as I will be afraid of food poisoning and in sure we are not the only ones that have experienced their meat being pink and under cooked I guess my next step is to report to...
Read moreI waited for 7 minutes watching employees walk by, make eye contact with me and keep walking. There were two gentlemen waiting for their order to be ready and just myself in "line" to order while 5 employees took their sweet time dily dallying behind the counter. All I wanted was a frosty for my mother who was ill at home. When someone actually "took my order" he didn't smile or speak he just walked up to a register and looked at me, unimpressed. I ordered, gave my money and went home with my frosties. I live no more than 3 minutes away and when I took the lid off my mothers frosty it was more like chocolate milk than anything remotely close to a "frosty". I am absolutely disgusted in the service I received and it is definitely not the first time something outrageous like this has happened. I work in restaurants and customer service so I am well aware that sometimes you can get busy. However, having five employees working seems a little redundant if you're still going to make your customers wait for over 5 minutes. Worst....
