Firehouse Subs Stouffville — Restaurant in Whitchurch-Stouffville

What a horrible experience at this location. First of all, It took 20-30 mins for my spouse and I to get our subs after we ordered and they weren't busy at all. There was one other customer there but he was already eating before we arrived. Maybe if the three girls behind the counter weren't so busy chatting and counting change we would have gotten our subs faster. Hopefully they didn't contaminate our food by handling all that dirty change because I don't want to get the runs. Second of all, when we got our food the bun was cold. I ordered the Hero sub and they completely left out the roast beef. The rest of the meat, ham and turkey, was not spread out evenly and was clumped towards the center of the bun leaving the ends with only veggie garnishes. I had to dirty my fingers and rearrange everything properly myself before I could consume the thing. They did however offered to make me another sub but I declined because I didn't want to wait another 30 mins. Third and last, the tables and floor were dirty. Not even a "WELCOME" when I went in so already knew how this visit would end up. Will not be returning. My email to @FirehouseSubs...1st off I got a pack of mayo on the side and put it on my sandwich only for it to wreck the first half as it was squeezed out with only an oily yellow fluid came out of that package (may want to check the LOT # or EXP date or pull the others that were with it off the floor). so that half i wont be taking a chance with that. When I first opened the Sandwich, the pickle spear was not even added & to top it off it was just soaked and soggy with water or oil spilling out from it, literally deteriorating in my hand before i even took a first bite. I would have needed a spoon or straw to finish it. For an almost $20 food item & tip this was totally not acceptable. I grabbed my order and hit the road and did not go back & waste more time to return this nonsense. But I will be leaving a Google and Yelp review as this is 3rd time having issues at this specific location. I have bit my tongue as I am not 1 to complain but that was the 3rd strike and now I have addressed it...

Waste of time, AVOID!! We visit Firehouse almost weekly and the last time we were there, I watched them forget the sauce on my sandwich (thankfully I reminded the guy before it was too late). This time, my boyfriend picked it up on his way home from work and brought it home for us to eat. We got changed and sat down to eat when we noticed that our sandwiches were both missing most of the ingredients. My veggie sub didn’t have cheese, was missing the sauce (again!!), and had less than half as many toppings as usual. My boyfriend’s sandwich was MISSING THE MEAT - what!!? - as well as having few toppings and missing some of his choices. We had to get changed again, drive back, and the staff were completely apathetic to the situation. They asked for details of what was missing so they could “educate” the staff.
